Here’s the situation. ABC is currently providing LIVE coverage of the 2020 Major League Baseball playoffs. Tomorrow, October 2, 2020, ABC will air the game 2 playoff game between the Miami Marlins and the Chicago Cubs from 1 pm to 4 pm central standard time.

ABC’s official description for it reads like this, “Game 2: Miami Marlins at Chicago Cubs
Miami Marlins at Chicago Cubs in Game 2 of a National League Wild Card series. From Wrigley Field.”

Now,the reason why ABC might not air General Hospital this Friday, October 2, 2020 is because depending on who wins game 2 between the Miami Marlins and the Chicago Cubs, it will send it to a deciding game 3.

If the Cubs win game 2, they will send it to a game 3 tiebreaker. If The Marlins win it, the series is over, and you’ll get your General Hospital back this Friday.

ABC’s official description for the possible Friday coverage of the Major League Baseball playoffs reads like this, “Game 3 (if necessary): Miami Marlins at Chicago Cubs. Miami Marlins at Chicago Cubs in Game 3 (if necessary) of a National League Wild Card series. From Wrigley Field.”

With all that said, we’re quite sure most of you hope that the Marlins will win game 2 and end this series ,tomorrow, so you can quickly get back to watching new episodes of General Hospital this Friday afternoon. We hope that for you too.

However,if they don’t, this entire week will be filled with Major League baseball action. So, brace yourselves for that possible reality.

We will, of course, jump back on here ,tomorrow, to give you guys another new update as to who won game 2 and whether or not you’ll get a new episode of General Hospital this Friday, October 2, 2020.

Also, we’ve been told that in certain time zones, there may be a repeat episode of General Hospital that gets aired on Thursday, October 1, 2020. That repeat episode will be the one that originally aired way back on February 5, 2015. ABC’s official description for it reads like this, “Alexis is worried about Julian. Sabrina arrives home to a surprise.”

On a more positive note, ABC will definitely get back to airing new episodes of General Hospital on Monday, October 5, 2020 in its usual 1 pm central standard time slot. None of the storylines from this week will be missed. They will just pick up from where they left off in the last, new episode that aired.

Central Florida had a new episode on Thursday 10/1/2020 about the kids at homecoming on the Haunted Star. If it wasn’t new I sure hadn’t seen it before.

Hi, Bonnie. It might have been new. ABC was supposed to cover game 2 that day, but it got postponed for bad weather. So, we’re not sure what ABC decided to do after that.
