General Hospital October 2, 2020 Episode Might Be Delayed, Pre-empted
Hey, “General Hospital” fans. We are back on here ,today, to give you some more very important news about your favorite soap opera. This is a tentative warning that ABC will not be airing a new episode of General Hospital tomorrow, October 2, 2020.
The reason why this is a tentative warning is because ABC has planned to air LIVE coverage for game 2 of the Major League baseball playoff game between the Miami Marlins and the Chicago Cubs.
This game 2 was actually supposed to be played today, October 1, 2020, but it got postponed due to bad weather. So, we actually don’t know what ABC aired today to replace their LIVE coverage of the game.
If, for some reason, the game gets postponed again tomorrow, ABC might go ahead and air a new episode of General Hospital. We won’t know until that time though. So, you guys will certainly want to check ABC tomorrow, October 2, 2020 at 1 pm central standard time to make sure ABC is still airing the game.
What we know, right now, is that ABC will indeed give it another shot tomorrow. Provided the weather is good tomorrow, we do expect ABC to be airing LIVE coverage of game 2 between the Miami Marlins and the Chicago Cubs from 1 pm to 4 pm central standard time.
ABC’s official description for it reads like this,”Game 2: Miami Marlins at Chicago Cubs. Miami Marlins at Chicago Cubs in Game 2 of a National League Wild Card series. From Wrigley Field. In Game 1, Corey Dickerson’s 3-run homer sparked the Marlins’ third straight playoff win at Wrigley dating to 2003. Sixto Sanchez opposes Yu Darvish today.”
If this playoff series gets pushed to a game 3, it’s currently scheduled to be played on Saturday, October 3, 2020. If that happens, ABC should still be on track to air new episodes of General Hospital again, starting on Monday, October 5, 2020.
Again, you’ll want to check ABC tomorrow, October 2, 2020 at 1 pm central standard time to make sure this game 2 isn’t postponed again. If it is postponed, ABC might go ahead and air a new episode of General Hospital. We will also check and update this post accordingly.
