Chicago Fire Season 9, November 25, 2020 Episode 3 Delayed. Not Airing For A While

Hey, “Chicago Fire” fans. It is with great displeasure that we have to jump on here and give you this sad warning. It turns out that NBC will indeed not be airing the next, new episode 3 of Chicago Fire’s current season 9 tonight, November 25, 2020.

It turns out that the last episode 2 that aired last week was the Fall finale episode. On a good note, NBC is currently scheduled to resume season 9 with the new episode 3 on Wednesday night,January 6, 2021 in its same 8 pm central standard time slot.

So, definitely be sure to jot down that very important date and time on your TV show calendars as soon as you can.

So, what is NBC airing instead of the next, new episode 3 of Chicago Fire’s current season 9 tonight? According to the TV Guide listings, NBC will be airing a Saturday Night Live Thanksgiving special titled, “A Saturday Night Live Thanksgiving.”

NBC’s official description for it reads like this, “A star-studded collection of Saturday Night Live’s most hilarious Thanksgiving-themed sketches from various seasons, including A Thanksgiving Miracle, The Bird Family, Adam Sandler’s Thanksgiving Song, Back Home Ballers and many more.”

Then, next Wednesday night, December 2, 2020, NBC will be air a Christmas special, which is titled, “88th Annual Christmas in Rockefeller Center.”

NBC’s official description for it reads like this, “The annual tree-lighting ceremony in New York features performances from Dolly Parton, Meghan Trainor, Kelly Clarkson, Brett Eldredge, Tori Kelly, Goo Goo Dolls, Leslie Odom Jr., Dan & Shay, the cast of Ain’t Too Proud and the Radio City Rockettes.”

After that, we’re seeing that NBC has a couple of Chicago Fire repeat episodes scheduled to air in late December 2020.

If any of you guys found those specials enticing, you might still want to tune in to NBC during this Fall break for Chicago Fire.

If you don’t like what NBC has planned out during this break, you will most certainly want to find something else to fill that time slot over the next month and a half or so.

With all that said, NBC did serve up a brief, new preview clip for the next, new episode 3 of Chicago Fire. It features a very emotional scene with Matthew and Sylvie.

Chicago Fire season 9 got off to a great start, averaging 7.498 million LIVE viewers per episode, and a 1.00 ratings score for the 18-49 year old demographics.

The last episode 2, which aired on November 18, 2020 brought in 7.768 million LIVE viewers and a 1.00 ratings score. It’s no wonder that NBC has already renewed it for a season 10 and 11. That’s right, guys. This show is not going anywhere anytime soon.

Again, NBC confirmed that the next, new episode 3 of Chicago Fire’s current season 9 is scheduled to air on Wednesday night, January 6, 2021 at approximately 8 pm central standard time.
