New Grey’s Anatomy Spoilers For Season 17, December 10, 2020 Episode 5 Revealed

Hey, “Grey’s Anatomy” fans. We are back to give you another spoiler session for your favorite Grey’s Anatomy show. In this article, we’ve got the 411 on what’s going down in the next, new episode 5 of Grey’s Anatomy’s current season 17, which is due out next Thursday night, December 10, 2020.

The wonderful people over at ABC delivered a few teaser descriptions for episode 5 via their official episode 5 press release. So, we will totally be referencing that in this spoiler session. Let’s get into it.

To start, there is an official title for episode 5. The producers have named it, “Fight The Power.” It sounds like episode 5 will feature some very intense, dramatic, possible emotional and interesting scenes as Bailey starts panicking! Jackson and Richard teach Catherine a lesson. Teddy tries to fix broken relationships. Jo is very uncertain of what’s to come and more.

We’ll go ahead and start off this spoiler session with the Bailey situation. It turns out that there will be a huge surge in Covid-19 cases, and it will totally cause Bailey to go into a panic since she has people she loves residing in an assisted living facility.

ABC’s official description for this latest Bailey storyline tells us, “Bailey panics as she hears there has been a surge of COVID-19 cases, knowing she has loved ones in an assisted living facility.”

An alternate description reads like this, “CHIEF MIRANDA BAILEY IS PERSONALLY TESTED BY THE RAGING PANDEMIC.”

The second spoiler scoop reveals that Jackson and Richard will be very busy, plotting up a good punishment for Catherine as they will team up to teach her a really good lesson.

ABC’s description for this Richard, Jackson and Catherine situation reads like this, “Jackson and Richard team up against Catherine to teach her a lesson.”

The 3rd spoiler teaser reveals that Teddy will be back in action in this episode. Apparently, she will be in the mood to make amends as she will keep trying and trying to fix her broken relationships.

ABC’s description for this latest Teddy storyline reads like this, “Teddy continues to try to mend her frayed relationships.”

The 4th and last teaser description lets us know that a very intense surgery will take place in this episode at some point, and it will leave poor Jo feeling quite unsure what her future holds.

ABC’s description for this latest Jo scenario reads like this, “After an intense surgery, Jo is uncertain about her future.”

Episode 5 will feature a couple of guest stars. They are: Debbie Allen as character Catherine Fox, Jason George as character Ben Warren and Mackenzie Marsh as character Val Ashton.

The season regulars that will be featured in episode 5 are: Ellen Pompeo as character Meredith Grey, Chandra Wilson as character Miranda Bailey, James Pickens Jr. as character Richard Webber, Kevin McKidd as character Owen Hunt, Kim Raver as character Teddy Altman.

Season regulars continued: Jesse Williams as character Jackson Avery, Camilla Luddington as character Dr. Jo, Caterina Scorsone as character Amelia Shepherd, Kelly McCreary as character Maggie Pierce, Giacomo Gianniotti as character Andrew DeLuca.

Season regulars continued: Chris Carmack as character Atticus “Link” Lincoln, Jake Borelli as character Levi Schmitt, Greg Germann as character Tom Koracick, Richard Flood as character Cormac Hayes and Anthony Hill as character Winston Ndugu.

Episode 5 was written by Zoanne Clack, and it was directed by Michael Watkins.

ABC’s press release confirmed that the next, new episode 5 of Grey’s Anatomy’s current season 17 is indeed scheduled to air next Thursday night,December 10,2020 at approximately 8 pm central standard time. Episodes can also be viewed the next day on demand and on Hulu.
