General Hospital January 6, 2021 Episode Delayed, Preempted In The USA
Hey, “General Hospital” fans. Today, was quite a day. We have some bad news for you guys. ABC did not air the new January 6, 2021 edition of General Hospital today.
Apparently, all the major networks provided LIVE coverage of the Congress counting and confirming the electorial college votes for President elect Joe Biden, but that’s not the half of it.
If that’s all that happened, General Hospital might have still aired, but that is not all that happened. Angry Trump supporters showed up to storm the Capitol in protest of the election! At one point, there were reports of somebody actually getting shot out there, and a few people definitely got injured!
That definitely caused the networks to continue their LIVE, non-stop coverage of this wild event.
Here are a few messages that the networks reported during their LIVE coverage: “Capital Hill On Lockdown Amid Protest. Protesters Breach Senate Chamber. Protesters Storm The Capital . Congress Locked Down. National Guard En Route To Capital Amid Protests. Washington, DC Mayor Orders Citywide 6 pm ET Curfew Amid Protests. Protesters Storm Capitol. Congress Locked Down.”
So, it got really crazy out there today, guys. Here’s what we found out about how ABC will be handling today’s preempted episode of General Hospital. The official General Hospital Twitter account did tweet out that today’s preempted episode will air tomorrow, January 7, 2021.
