Young And The Restless January 6, 2021 Episode Delayed, Preempted In Certain USA Time Zones

Hey,”Young And The Restless” fans. We unfortunately had to jump on her ,real quick, to give you guys the bad news. It turns out that CBS preempted the airing of Young And The Restless’ January 6, 2021 episode in most if not all USA time zones.

We can definitely confirm that it did not air in the central standard time zone here in Dallas,TX since that’s where we’re located. We also saw a couple of people on Twitter confirm that they didn’t get the new episode today either.

CBS preempted today’s January 6, 2021 Young And The Restless episode to air LIVE coverage of Congress counting the electorial college votes for the new President elect Joe Biden. The message we saw flash across our TV screen during the LIVE coverage reads like this, “Congress Convenes To Count Electorial College Votes.”

Then later on, all the Trump supporters started protesting, which sparked on even more LIVE coverage. The messages we got for that situation reads like this, “Capital Hill On Lockdown Amid Protest. Protesters Breach Senate Chamber.”

So, it appears that things really got crazy over in Washington D.C. today. Whenever that happens, you can best believe your favorite soap operas will get preempted. Hopefully, this mess will all blow over by tomorrow, but we can’t be sure. We don’t know yet.

Since this wasn’t a planned preemption, we don’t currently know how any of the CBS affiliate stations will handle today’s preemption. I think the one thing we can guarantee is that CBS will eventually upload today’s preempted Young And The Restless episode to their official website for viewing. So, I would place my bets on that.

We couldn’t find any posts from any of the CBS affiliate stations on this matter. So, you’ll definitely have to play it by ear to see if CBS will air today’s preempted episode tomorrow on the actual CBS TV channel.

Again, I would be looking to try and see when CBS uploads the new episode to their website by Clicking Here.

With that said, a couple of Twitter users expressed their frustration about The Young And The Restless getting preempted today.

Barbie@UGotBARBed tweeted, “These motherf#%ckers preempted The Young and The Restless for this objection f%^cksh%#t. You guys can view that tweet on Twitter by Clicking Here.
