The Resident Season 4, February 23, 2021 Episode 7 Delayed. Not Airing Tonight

Hey, The Resident fans. Unfortunately, we’re on here ,today, to deliver some very bad news. For some unknown reason, FOX will not be airing the next, new episode 7 of The Resident’s current season 4 tonight, February 23, 2021.

The good news is that this delay will only be for this week. We have official confirmation from the FOX folks that they do intend to air the new episode 7 next Tuesday night, March 2, 2021 in its usual 7 pm central standard time slot. So, be sure to definitely remember that very important date and time.

We found out what FOX is airing instead of the next, new episode 7 of The Resident’s current season 4 tonight. According to the TV guide listings, FOX will be airing a repeat episode of The Resident. This repeat episode will be the first episode of this season 4 titled, “A Wedding, A Funeral.”

FOX’s official description for it reads like this, “After a long wait, Conrad and Nic prepare for their wedding day with the support of their family and friends. Meanwhile, flashbacks to the early days of the COVID-19 crisis shine a light on the heroism of the doctors and the toll the virus took on everyone at Chastain Memorial in an encore of the “A Wedding, A Funeral” Season Four premiere episode of THE RESIDENT.”

If any of you guys are up for this particular repeat episode of The Resident, you might still want to go ahead and still flip on FOX tonight like you normally would. If not, you will definitely wan to start making other plans as quick as possible.

Spoiler Warning: For those of you who are interested , we did hunt down some official spoiler scoops for the next, new episode 7 of The Resident’s current season 4. The wonderful FOX people dished them up in their official episode 7 press release. So, let’s dive into those right now.

For starters, episode 7 is titled, “Hero Moments.” It sounds like episode 7 will feature some emotional, intense, dramatic and interesting scenes.

In the new episode 7, Conrad’s former army commander will take the spotlight at some point when he gets stranded and wounded in the forest. He will end up calling Conrad to come rescue him. Apparently,Conrad will agree to come help him. When he does, the trip to go help his old army commander will bring up a lot of old emotions for Conrad.

Devon and Kit will be very busy in this episode as they will deal with a patient that has sickle cell anemia. During their time with this patient, Devon and Kit will encourage her to get a hip replacement to help treat her pain.

The Raptor will have a very interesting and intense moment in this episode as he will be in the middle of a very serious surgery and get pulled away from it!

Mina will have a very important moment in this episode as she will be left to complete a surgery on her own.

Lastly, we’ll see Bell in action in this episode. He will be trying to reconnect with his stepson after he got him hired at the hospital.

FOX’s official description for episode 7 tells us, “When Conrad gets a call from his former army commander who is stranded and wounded in the forest, the trip to save him brings lots of old emotions to the surface.

Devon and Kit treat a patient who suffers from sickle cell anemia and encourage her to have a hip replacement to help treat her pain. Meanwhile, The Raptor is pulled away in the middle of an intense surgery, Mina is left to put her skills and finish the surgery on her own and Bell works on reconnecting with his stepson (guest star Conrad Ricamora) after helping him get hired at the hospital.”

An alternate description reads like this, “OLD MEMORIES COME BACK TO HAUNT CONRAD.”

Episode 7 will feature quite a few guest stars. They are: Tasso Feldman as character Dr. Irving Feldman; Jessica Miesel as character Nurse Jessica Moore; Ricamora as character Dr. Jake Wong; Tim Griffin as character Nate Hill.

Guest stars continued: Cara Ricketts as character Rose Williams; Christopher J. Janke as character Gregg; J. Barrett Cooper as character Moises Knoll; Nirvi Shah as character Female Nurse and Brett Schultz as character Male Nurse.”

The season regulars that will be featured in episode 7 are: Matt Czuchry as character Conrad Hawkins, Bruce Greenwood as character Dr. Randolph Bell, Manish Dayal as character Devon Pravesh, Emily VanCamp as character Nicolette Nevin, Shaunette Renée Wilson as character Mina Okafor, Malcolm-Jamal Warner as character Dr. AJ Austin, Jane Leeves as character Dr. Kit Voss and Morris Chestnut as character Dr. Barrett Cain.

Again, FOX confirmed that the next, new episode 7 of The Resident’s current season 4 is scheduled to finally arrive next Tuesday night, March 2, 2021 at approximately 7 pm central standard time.
