MacGyver Season 5, March 12, 2021 Episode 11 Delayed. Not Airing Tonight

Hey, “MacGyver” fans. We had to jump on here, real quick, because we’ve just learned that CBS will not be airing the next, new episode 11 of MacGyver’s current season 5 tonight, March 12, 2021. This development just recently happened this past week. We’re not sure why.

We also need to tell you that CBS won’t be airing the new episode 11 next Friday night, March 19, 2021. So, we’re looking at a 2-week delay for MacGyver. CBS has confirmed that they currently plan to air the new episode 11 on Friday night, March 26, 2021 in its usual 7 pm central standard time slot. So, definitely be sure to remember that very important date and time.

We tracked down what CBS is airing instead of the next, new episode 11 of MacGyver’s current season 5 tonight. CBS will be re-airing an Oprah Winfrey special called, “Oprah With Meghan and Harry: A CBS Primetime Special.”

CBS’ official description for it reads like this, “Oprah Winfrey sits down with Prince Harry and Meghan, The Duke and Duchess of Sussex for an intimate conversation.”

Then, next Friday night, March 19,2021, CBS will be serving up LIVE coverage of the 2021 NCAA College Basketball Tournament. It’s the first round, and the teams are yet to be announced. CBS’ official description for it reads like this, “College basketball teams vie for the national championship.”

If any of those alternate programs are of interest to you, you might still want to tune in to CBS as you normally would during that time. If not, you will certainly want to make some other plans at your earliest convenience.

Spoiler Warning: As we previously reported, CBS did serve up an official press release/spoilers for the next, new episode 11 of MacGyver’s current season 5. So, we’re going to run those by you right now.

First thing’s first. The official title for episode 11 is called,”C8H7CIO + Nano-Trackers + Resistance + Maldives + Mind Games.” It sounds like episode 11 will feature the usual high action, intense, dramatic and suspense-filled scenes.

CBS’ official description for this new episode 11 reads like this, “Mac and Riley head overseas together to prevent a governmental collapse and inadvertently inhale new deadly microscopic technology.”

Episode 11 was written by Joshua Brown & Teresa Huang, and it was directed by David Straiton.

Again, CBS confirmed that the next, new episode 11 of MacGyver’s current season 5 is now scheduled to air on Friday night, March 26, 2021 at approximately 7 pm central standard time.

MacGyver’s current season 5 is averaging 4.891 million LIVE viewers per episode and a 0.53 ratings score for the 18-49 year old demographics. The last episode 10, which aired last Friday night, March 5, 2021, brought in 4.496 million LIVE viewers and a 0.45 ratings score. We’re still waiting to see if CBS will renew MacGyver for a new season 6. So, stay hopeful.
