New The Resident Season 5 Spoilers For October 5, 2021 Episode 3 Revealed

Hey, “The Resident” fans. We hope you guys totally enjoyed watching episode 2 tonight. Now that it’s officially in the can, we are back to give you another new set of spoiler scoops for the next, new episode 3 of The Resident’s current season 5, which is scheduled to hit the airwaves next Tuesday night, October 5, 2021.

We were able to hunt down a couple of new, official teaser scoops for the new episode 3 from FOX’s official episode 3 press release. So, those will definitely be our source for this spoiler session. Let’s get into it.


To start, FOX revealed that this new episode 3 does have an official title. It’s called, “The Long and Winding Road.” It sounds like episode 3 will feature some very intense, dramatic, interesting, suspenseful and emotional scenes as the Chastain doctors start questioning all of their decisions due to a familiar patient. Raptor aka AJ and Leela deal with a suffering Covid patient and more.

We’ll go ahead and start off this spoiler session with the Chastain staff situation. It turns out that an accident is going to happen that causes a certain patient to enter the Chastain ER. Since the Chastain doctors are all familiar with this particular patient, they will have a tough time trying to decide how to best care for this patient. So much so that they will start questioning all of the decisions they make!

FOX’s official description for this Chastain Doctors debacle reads like this, “When an accident brings a familiar patient into the Chastain ER, the doctors must face the reality of figuring out how to proceed with the best care, which leads the whole staff questioning every decision.”

An alternate description tells us,”CHASTAIN IS THROWN INTO TURMOIL.”


The second and last spoiler scoop for the next, new episode 3 lets us know that the Raptor aka AJ and Leela will take the spotlight as they will end up dealing with a returning COVID patient who is suffering from long-term effects.

FOX’s description for this Raptor and Leela storyline reads like this, “The Raptor and Leela deal with a patient returning with the long-term effects of COVID.”

Episode 3 will feature a couple of guest stars. They are: Tasso Feldman as character Dr. Irving Feldman; Skyler Day as character Nurse Clara Rasmussen; Glenn Morshower as character Marshall Winthrop; Denitra Isler as character Nurse Hundley; Corbin Bernsen as character Kyle Nevin; Jessica Miesel as character Nurse Jessica Moore.

Guest stars continued: Marlene Forte as character Cherry Sandoval; Juan Carlos Cantu as character Gabe Sandoval; Viviana Chavez as character Nurse Reena Reddy; Najah Bradley as character Harvey; Wendel A. Matthews as character Pilot Dietz; Britny Horton as character Operator Rooney; Wes Jetton as character McDonnell; Amy Hui as character Santina Lopez and Rowan Bousaid as character Danny Hernandez.


The season regulars that will be featured in episode 3 are: Matt Czuchry as character Conrad Hawkins; Bruce Greenwood as character Dr. Randolph Bell; Manish Dayal as character Devon Pravesh; Malcolm-Jamal Warner as character Dr. AJ Austin; Jane Leeves as character Dr. Kit Voss; Morris Chestnut as character Dr. Barrett Cain; Jessica Lucas as character Billie Sutton and Anuja Joshi as character Dr. Leela Devi.


FOX’s press release confirmed that the next, new episode 3 of The Resident’s current season 5 is indeed scheduled to arrive next Tuesday night, October 5, 2021 at approximately 7 pm central standard time.
