Dancing With The Stars November 8, 2021 Eliminated Olivia,Val, Jimmie & Emma (Recap)

Hey, “Dancing With The Stars” fans. Tonight, November 8, 2021, another LIVE performance/results show for Dancing With The Stars’ current season 30 did indeed air, and two couples got the shaft tonight since it was a double elimination episode.

All the judges: Len Goodman, Carrie Ann Inaba, Bruno Tonioli and Derek Hough were on hand, once again, to deliver their usual scores and critiques. Tonight’s theme was Janet Jackson songs. So, all the couples danced to Janet Jackson songs.

Janet Jackson, herself, also made a LIVE appearance on the show via a Satellite feed. She told Tyra she was very honored that the couples are dancing to her music.

The performances kicked off with Jimmie Allen and Emma Slater doing the Cha Cha to “Escapade” by Janet Jackson. Afterwards, Len said, “I didn’t like the heel leads. It was a nice dance, but I’m not sure if it’s enough to get you to next week’s show.”

Derek said, “I’m ,once again, wowed by your sparkly outfits, but I didn’t think this was your best performance. You were a little stiff.”

Bruno said, “Your fluidity has improved, but I didn’t like the heel leads.” Carrie Ann said, “It was fun and a great way to start the night, but your shoulders were up and your rib cage needs to stay in.”

Carrie Ann gave Jimmie and Emma an 8 score, Len an 8, Derek an 8, Bruno an 8 for a total of 32 points out of a possible 40 points.

Suni Lee and Sasha Farber served up a Samba routine to “All For You” by Janet Jackson. Afterwards, Derek said, “You had new confidence and did a tough samba so beautifully and so gracefully.”

Bruno said, “You were high-octane and could have been one of the pros.” Carrie Ann said, “This is the Suni we’ve been waiting for all season.” Len said, “This would get an “A-one” health rating.”

Carrie Ann gave Suni and Sasha a 10, Len a 10, Derek a 10, Bruno a 10 for a perfect 40 score.

Melora Hardin and Artem Chigvintsev danced a Paso Doble routine to “If” by Janet Jackson. Afterwards, Bruno said, “You were a ferocious queen of mean, and you also had the artistry and beauty.”

Carrie Ann said, “You’re kicking the balls out of the ballroom, especially for a woman in her 50s.” Len said, “It was a well done, great performance.” Derek said, “You absolutely slayed that paso.”

Carrie Ann gave Melora and Artem a 10, Len a 10, Derek a 10, Bruno a 10 for a perfect 40 score!

Olivia Jade and Val Chmerkovskiy did an Argentine Tango routine to “Any Time, Any Place” by Janet Jackson. Afterwards, Carrie Ann said, “I wanted to see more heat, but it was well-danced.”

Len said, “I liked the moments of speed and moments of softness, but I wasn’t a fan of the bit on the table.” Derek said, “I can sense your joy in the beautiful dance.” Bruno said, “You had great leg work, but I also wanted to see more passion.”

Carrie Ann gave Olivia and Val a 9, Len a 9, Derek a 9, Bruno a 9 for a total of 36 points.

Cody Rigsby and Cheryl Burke danced a Paso Doble number to “Black Cat” by Janet Jackson. Afterwards, Len said, “It was big, bold, and no-nonsense dancing, so much that I didn’t even notice Cheryl.”

Derek said, “You stepped it up with this routine with your lines, power, and presence.” Bruno said, “You unleashed the beast within.” Carrie Ann said, “It was fantastic ,and you’re bringing it all together.”

Carrie Ann gave Cody and Cheryl a 10, Len a 10, Derek a 9, Bruno a 9 for a total = 38 points.

Amanda Kloots and Alan Bersten delivered a Jazz number to “Miss You Much” by Janet Jackson. Afterwards, Derek said, “You were a leading lady from start to finish.”

Bruno said, “You were in charge from beginning to end, including Janet references but making them your own.” Carrie Ann said, “I’m so proud of you. That’s what we’ve been looking for from you.” Len said, “It was amazing.”

Carrie Ann gave Amanda and Alan a 10, Len a 10, Derek a 10, Bruno a 10 for a perfect 40 score.

Iman Shumpert and Daniella Karagach danced a Cha Cha dance to “Rhythm Nation” by Janet Jackson. Afterwards, Bruno said, “It was a great tribute, but there was minimal cha cha.”

Carrie Ann said, “It was intricate choreography ,and you gave it your usual pizzazz.” Len said, “I was impressed with the precision in the group section, but not enough cha cha.” Derek said, “You’re a special duo because you’re memorable.”

Carrie Ann gave Iman and Daniella a 9, Len an 8, Derek a 9, Bruno a 9 for a total of 35 points.

JoJo Siwa and Jenna Johnson rocked a Salsa dance to “Feedback” by Janet Jackson. Afterwards, Carrie Ann said, “It was amazing ,and you continue to give incredible performances.”

Len said, “You’re an excellent dancer ,and you’re a fantastic dream team, but I didn’t like the non-salsa gimmicks.” Len said, “You are a great partner and leader, and I’m speechless.” Bruno said, “It was drop dead sexy.”

Carrie Ann gave JoJo & Jenna a 10, Len a 9, Derek a 10, Bruno a 10 for a total of 39 points.

Next, the couples did a dance-off challenge for an extra 2 bonus points from one of the judges. In the first dance-off, Jimmie Allen danced off against Suni Lee. It was a Salsa routine to “Made for Now” by Janet Jackson. The judge for this dance-off was Bruno, and he voted Suni as the winner. So, she got the 2 extra, bonus points.

The second dance-off featured JoJo Siwa against Olivia Jade. They did a rumba dance with their dance pros to “That’s The Way Love Goes” by Janet Jackson. Carrie Ann judged this dance-off and declared JoJo as the winner for the 2, extra bonus points.

The 3rd dance-off featured Melora Hardin against Iman Shumpert. They danced a Foxtrot to “Again” by Janet Jackson. Derek was the judge, and declared Melora as the winner for the two, extra bonus points.

The 4th and final dance-off featured Amanda Kloots against Cody Rigsby. They did a Cha Cha to “Together Again” by Janet Jackson with their pro dance partners. Len was the judge for this dance-off and declared Amanda as the winner for the two, extra bones points.

After all of that, host Tyra Banks revealed that all the couples were safe except for Olivia and Val, Melora and Artem and Jimmie and Emma. They were the bottom three vote-getters for this double elimination episode.

It was revealed that Olivia Jade and Val Chmerkovskiy got the least amount of votes after America’s votes were counted. So, they were eliminated.

Then, the judges had the opportunity to vote to save either Melora and Artem or Jimmie and Emma. The judges unanimously voted to save Melora & Artem. So, Olivia Jade & Val Chmerkovskiy and Jimmie Allen & Emma Slater were the two couples that got eliminated from Dancing With The Stars season 30 in tonight’s November 8, 2021 episode.
