Hey, “The Equalizer” fans. Unfortunately, it’s one of those times again. In this particular article, we have to break some really bad news to you guys. It turns out that for some unknown reason, CBS will not be airing the next, new episode 6 of The Equalizer’s current season 2 tonight, November 14, 2021.

The good news is that this particular delay will just be for this week. CBS has confirmed that they do intend to air the new episode 6 next Sunday night, November 21, 2021 in its usual 7 pm central standard time slot. So, definitely be sure to plan out for that very important date and time.

So, just what in the heck is CBS airing instead of the next, new episode 6 of The Equalizer’s current season 2 tonight? We were able to track that information down. According to the TV guide listings, CBS will be airing the tailend of a 60 minutes episode during the 7 pm to 7:30 pm central standard time slot.

This episode of 60 minutes is titled, “Freight Expectations; Andrew Sullivan; The Get Back Sessions.” It’s the 9th episode of its current season 54.

CBS’ official description for it reads like this, “Cargo piles up on California docks; author Andrew Sullivan; footage from “Let It Be” reveals the bond between The Beatles.”

Then, in that 7:30 pm central standard time slot, CBS will be airing a 2-hour long, Adele special titled, “Adele One Night Only.” CBS’ official description for it reads like this, “The singer performs her first new material in six years, and sits down with Oprah Winfrey to discuss her new album, the stories behind the songs, life after divorce, weight loss and raising her son.”

If any of you guys up for watching this alternate line of programming, you might still want to flip on CBS tonight.

If you know you only want to watch the next, new episode 6 of The Equalizer’s current season 2, you will definitely want to get something else lined up for tonight as soon as you can.

Spoiler Warning: For those of you who are interested in checking out some spoiler scoops for the next, new episode 6 of The Equalizer’s current season 2, you are in luck because we were able to gather some up from CBS’ official episode 6 press release. So, we’re going to tell you all about it right now.

First thing’s first. CBS revealed that this new episode 6 of The Equalizer season 2 is officially named/titled, “Shooter.” It sounds like episode 2 will feature some very intense, dramatic, action-filled, interesting, emotional and suspenseful scenes.

CBS’ official description for episode 6 reads like this, “Mel’s past military expertise proves critical when McCall is hired by District Attorney Grafton (Jennifer Ferrin) to find a sniper on a killing spree, seemingly selecting victims at random. Also, Delilah experiences PTSD when the sniper shootings cause her to relive the trauma of her friend’s fatal shooting on the CBS Original series THE EQUALIZER.”

Episode 6 will feature a couple of guest stars. They are: Shea Buckner as character (Silas Furlong), Terry Serpico as character (Dan Erickson), Victoria Lily Robinson as character (Tiffany), Jessica Cummings as character (Beth Furlong), Isabel Joy Wolk as character (Charlotte Furlong), Noga Blum as character (Ella), Ryan Black as character (Jeff), Ryan Love as character (Security Guard) and Christopher Harral as character (Waiter).

Episode 6 will feature one recurring star. That one person is: Jennifer Ferrin as character (D.A. Avery Grafton).

The season regulars that will be featured in episode 6 are: Queen Latifah as character (Robyn McCall), Tory Kittles as character (Detective Marcus Dante), Adam Goldberg as character (Harry Keshegian), Liza Lapira as character (Melody “Mel” Bayani), Laya DeLeon Hayes as character (Delilah), Lorraine Toussaint as character (Viola “Vi” Marsette) and Chris Noth as character (William Bishop).

Episode 6 was written by Joe Gazzam, and it was directed by Milena Govich.

Again, CBS confirmed that the next, new episode 6 of The Equalizer’s current season 2 is scheduled to finally hit the air next Sunday night, November 21, 2021 at approximately 7 pm central standard time. It will also be available to stream live and on demand on Paramount+.
