New The Resident Season 5 Spoilers For May 10, 2022 Episode 22 Revealed
Hey, “The Resident” fans. We hope that tonight’s 21st episode was a delight for you to watch. Now that episode 21 is all finished up, we are back in action to deliver another new set of spoiler scoops for you guys. In this spoiler session, we’re going to tell you what to expect from the next, new episode 22 of The Resident’s current season 5 when it arrives next Tuesday night, May 10, 2022.
We were able to track down a couple of new, official teaser descriptions for this new episode 22 from the terrific FOX people by way of their official episode 22 press release. So, we’re going to dig into those right now. Let’s get to it.
To start, FOX revealed that this new episode 22 of The Resident’s current season 5 is officially labeled/titled, “The Proof Is In The Pudding.” It sounds like episode 22 will feature some interesting, dramatic, intense and emotional scenes as a young boy with a rare disease shows up. Devon has major choices to make. Billie has a difficult time and more.
We’ll go ahead and start off this spoiler session with the rare disease situation. Yep, it turns out that some poor, young boy will show up at the hospital with a rare disease that causes his bones to become very fragile. So, we’re going to see a surgery on this boy take place. Cade’s father Ian is going to assist with this surgery, leaving Cade all by her lonesome during her recovery period.
FOX’s official description for this rare disease situation tells us, “When a young boy comes into the hospital with a rare disease which leaves his bones incredibly fragile, Cade’s father, Ian (guest star Andrew McCarthy), scrubs in to assist in the surgery, leaving Cade all on her own in her recovery.”An alternate description reads like this, “CADE’S FATHER SCRUBS IN.”
The second spoiler scoop reveals that Devon will get some positive news in this episode as his clinical trial will be declared a success at some point. As a result of this fantastic news, Devon will have some major decisions he’ll need to make in regards to the future outlook of his career.
FOX’s description for this latest, Devon storyline reads like this, “With his clinical trial officially being declared a success, Devon has some huge decisions to make about the future of his career.”
The 3rd and last spoiler scoop for this new episode 22 lets us know that Billie will be quite emotional at some point. Apparently, Billie will be experiencing some new feelings that cause her to struggle.
FOX’s description for this latest, Billie situation reads like this, “Billie struggles with some new feelings.”

Guest stars continued: Suehyla El-Attar Young as character Nurse Laura; Ashley Jones as character Diana Anza; Jeremy T Thomas as character Marco Anza; Freddy Boyd as character Morris; Olivia Costa as character Molly and Marc Farley as character Jokey Patient.
The season regulars that will be featured in episode 22 are: Matt Czuchry as character Conrad Hawkins; Bruce Greenwood as character Dr. Randolph Bell; Manish Dayal as character Devon Pravesh; Malcolm-Jamal Warner as character Dr. AJ Austin; Jane Leeves as character Dr. Kit Voss; Jessica Lucas as character Billie Sutton and Anuja Joshi as character Dr. Leela Devi.
FOX’s press release confirmed that the next, new episode 22 of the Resident’s current season 5 is indeed scheduled to hit the air next Tuesday night, May 10, 2022 at approximately 7 pm central standard time.
