NCIS Los Angeles Season 13, May 22, 2022 Episode 22 Is The Finale. Season 14 Is Happening
Hey, “NCIS: Los Angeles” fans. We hope you guys totally enjoyed and had a blast watching the very last episode 22 of NCIS: Los Angeles’ current season 13 tonight. That’s right, guys. Episode 22 was indeed the season 13 finale episode . So, we hope you savored every single minute of it because that will be the last episode for a pretty good while.
The good news is that episode 22 won’t be the last episode forever. We can officially tell you that the wonderful CBS people have renewed NCIS: Los Angeles for a brand new season 14! That’s right, guys. Your favorite drama will return in the 2022/2023 season to deliver another set of brand new episodes.
Currently, we’re not sure when the new season 14 will start or how many episodes it will feature, but we’re guessing it will start up in the Fall 2022. However, we’ll have to wait until CBS releases that important info to give you an official start time.
According to the folks over at Deadline.com , CBS served up the season 14 renewal offer back in late March 2022. So, NCIS: Los Angeles did get an early renewal. CBS was quite confident in it. So, that’s another good sign for the future life of the show. CBS didn’t have to debate it or think about it. They were just ready to go with a new season.
During the renewal announcement, the president of CBS Entertainment Kelly Kahl had some good things to say about the entire NCIS franchise as a whole because they did renew all of the NCIS shows together. Kelly stated, “NCIS, one of the most popular and enduring series in the world, and fan favorite NCIS: Los Angeles have been hugely successful on the CBS schedule for years.
With the strong new addition of NCIS: Hawai’i, we are able to expand the strength of this formidable franchise across our schedule. We couldn’t be more excited to have all three talented casts and creative teams back to bring more compelling NCIS stories to viewers in the U.S. and around the globe.”
NCIS: Los Angeles season 13 averaged 5.374 million LIVE viewers per episode, and a 0.50 ratings score for the 18 to 49 year old demographics. The most recent episode 21, which aired last Sunday night, May 15, 2022, drew in 5.325 million LIVE viewers, and a 0.43 ratings score.
The most-viewed episode was the premiere episode 1 with 5.846 million LIVE viewers. The least-viewed episode was episode 14 with 4.911 million LIVE viewers.
The highest-rated episode was the premiere episode 1 with a 0.65 ratings score. The lowest=rated episode was episode 19 with a 0.39 ratings score. If you include the viewers from the streaming platforms, the average viewership number jumps to 7.2 million viewers per episode. So, that was a very strong performance indeed.
