Big Brother July 14, 2022 Evicted No One. Paloma Aguilar Quit (Recap)

Hey, fellow, “Big Brother” fans. Tonight, July 14, 2022, the very first LIVE eviction show of this season did indeed air, but no one was evicted at the end due to some very surprising turn of events with houseguest Paloma Aguilar that we previously reported on. Even though we didn’t get an eviction, we did get lots of new information on exactly what went down.

Tonight’s episode kicked of with footage of what happened in the Big Brother house after reigning HOH (Head of Household) Daniel replaced Michael with Taylor on the chopping block during the POV ceremony. Taylor was crying to the private cams aka The Diary Room. She said, “What hurt the most was being told that I hurt people.”

Paloma told the private cams, “Taylor is who I wanted to go up, but seeing her go through this, honestly broke my heart.” Paloma talked with Taylor and gave her some advice, telling her to “Show your authentic self.” Paloma also mentioned to her that her pageant show was a little too much.

Taylor told the private cams, “I really like Paloma, but I don’t know if she has my best interest at heart. She’s talking like I’m already out of here.”

Taylor talked with Ameerah, and they discovered her words were taken the wrong way about Paloma targeting the guys. Taylor talked with Monte to clear things up. Monte told her, “I’m sorry that this lead to this.” Monte told the private cams, “Even if Taylor is right and was actually telling the truth, I’ve already built a relationship with Paloma. So, I’m moving forward with her and voting Taylor out.”

Taylor tried to talk to Paloma about the confusion. This time, Paloma got real rude saying, “I honestly don’t want to hear your explanation. I don’t want to here you explain yourself. Is that rude?” Taylor said, “Yeah, a little bit.”

The “girls girls” alliance of Paloma, Alyssa and Ameerah decided to bring on Monte, Pooch and Kyle to form a 6-person alliance. Then, they decide to ditch Pooch and bring in Michael instead. Paloma pitched the 6-person alliance to Michael. Michael told the private cams, “I said yes to Paloma’s alliance just in case it’s legit, but I’m still very skeptical of it.”

Brittany tried to make a deal with Pooch just in case the “Backstage” twist requires him to pick one of the Backstage girls Brittany, Alyssa or Paloma to battle to stay in the house. Then, Pooch went back and told Ameerah that Brittany pitched Ameerah to be on the block.

Ameerah definitely didn’t like that, especially since she and Brittany were supposed to be in the same alliance. Ameerah told Brittany, “Someone said I was gunning for Pooch.” Brittany denied having anything to do with it. So, Ameerah told the private cams, “Brittany cannot be trusted. So, I’m gunning for her.”

Next, we got footage of Paloma starting to break down. She told Michael she hasn’t been sleeping well. Paloma told the private cams, “I only got 2 hours of sleep. I can feel the exhaustion. It hit me like a ton of bricks. I used my anxiety to create this game.” Paloma told Turner, “I physically cannot sleep in this house. I wanna leave.”

Alyssa told the private cams, “Paloma has had a major shift in energy. We’re really starting to worry about her. I’m really concerned for her. I just don’t know what she needs right now.” At one point, Paloma was seen sleeping in the Diary room.

After that, we got footage of Daniel calling a house meeting to read a note that production gave him concerning Paloma’s status. He said, “Houseguests due to a personal matter, Paloma will no longer be continuing in the Big Brother game. She wishes you all the best.” Then, the houseguests said a prayer for Paloma and wished her well.

Turner told the private cams, “I just really hope Paloma is ok.” Daniel told the private cams, “I love Paloma like a sister, but mental health is a number one priority.” So, with what CBS presented us tonight, it appears that Paloma was dealing with some sort of mental issues ,and she left the house to get that worked out. We’re hearing some other reasons might have caused this situation, but that’s all CBS gave us.

To wrap up tonight’s episode, Julie revealed to the houseguests that America voted to keep Brittany safe in the Backstage twist, but since Paloma left, the Backstage twist was no longer a thing. Julie went on to explain how the Backstage twist would’ve worked out had Paloma stayed.

Apparently, there would’ve been a competition/battle between one of the eviction nominees and one of the backstage girls Alyssa or Paloma, and the loser of that competition would’ve went home. Since Paloma is gone, the Backstage twist was canceled. So, both Alyssa and Brittany are safe. Also, they decided to cancel the LIVE eviction. So, both of the eviction nominees Taylor and Terrance are also safe.

From there, the houseguests competed in a new HOH competition. In it, they paired two people to race across an obstacle course and hit a buzzer. The winner from that pair advanced to the next round.

They only had enough time to show the first round during the LIVE show. So, we’ll have to let you guys know who won this HOH competition later on tonight or first thing tomorrow morning. So, definitely be on the lookout for that report in the very near future.

The next Big Brother season 24 episode is scheduled to air this Sunday night, July 17,2022 at approximately 7 pm central standard time on CBS.

Alright, guys. That’s all we’ve got for this latest, “Big Brother” TV show report, but definitely stay tuned for more.
