Big Brother September 8, 2022 Evicted Terrance Higgins & Michael Bruner (Recap)

Hey, “Big Brother” fans. Tonight, September 8, 2022, another LIVE eviction episode for Big Brother’s current season 24 did air, and it sent another two houseguests packing for the jury house because it was a double eviction episode.

Tonight’s LIVE, double eviction episode kicked off with footage of what happened in the house after the last POV ceremony when Michael didn’t use the veto and kept Alyssa and Terrance on the chopping block. Michael told the Diary Room aka the private cams, “Terrance is the last person I want to sit against in a final two. He’s gotta go this week.” Terrance told the private cams that he tried to pitch the argument of why the houseguests would want him out.

Monte told the private cams, “Terrance has gotta go this week.” Alyssa pitched a trio alliance idea to Taylor and Brittany. Brittany expressed to the private cams that she liked the idea of the trio alliance in case Michael goes out.

Taylor told the private cams, “I really want Terrance to go this week. He changes his allegiance with the wind. We’ve never been able to see eye to eye.”

Terrance tried to campaign to Taylor, but Taylor wasn’t going for it saying to the private cams, “It’s too little too late.”

Terrance made a pitch to Monte saying, “A black person could win it twice.” Monte pitched to Taylor about possibly keeping Terrance around. Taylor wasn’t having it saying,”I don’t trust a d%mn thing Terrance says.” Taylor told the private cams, “Terrance’s only path is out the door.”

Next, they showed us some jury house footage. Jasmine showed up to greet Indy. They hugged. Then, Joseph showed up, and they watched footage of he and Jasmine’s exit week. Indy said she didn’t trust Brittany or Kyle and hopes to never see Brittany’s face again.

Afterwards, Kyle arrived, and he showed them video of the week he went out. He had to eventually tell Joseph, Jasmine and Indy about the drama that took place surrounding his Cookout 2.0 comments. Indy got real upset and walked off. Joseph and Jasmine got upset too, but they still talked with Kyle about what happened.

Jasmine and Joseph questioned why Michael and Brittany waited so long to say anything. Kyle didn’t go into great detail about that. He just wanted to take responsibility for the things he said. Kyle said to the private cams, “My heart is breaking that I caused this much hurt to these people.”

Indy eventually came back and told Kyle, “I appreciate you saying sorry. Let’s just learn the lesson and move on,” and they hugged. Joseph told Kyle, “I’m extremely disappointed. I will need some time. I hope you can understand that.” Kyle said, “Yes, I do and thank you for talking to me about this.”

Back in the main house, Monte and Turner caught wind of Brittany, Alyssa and Taylor’s plans to start an all-girl alliance. So, Turner brought up to Monte that maybe they should get together with Michael to take out the girls.

Monte agreed, and they chatted with Michael about it. Michael told the private cams that he likes the idea of aligning with Monte and Turner because he can’t play in the next HOH (Head Of Household) competition, and this alliance helps his odds of staying.

Monte and Turner told Michael they’re not putting each other up, and they seemingly agreed to go after the girls moving forward.

Next, the eviction nominees Terrance and Alyssa gave their final plea speeches. Then, the rest of the houseguests minus HOH Michael casts their votes to evict.

Monte, Brittany, Turner and Taylor all voted to evict Terrance. No one voted to evict Alyssa. So, by a unanimous vote of 4-0, Terrance was evicted from the Big Brother season 24 house tonight. He didn’t give anyone a hug on the way out saying, “You know I gotta do a Daniel.”

Next, Terrance gave an exit interview to host Julie Chen-Moonves. Terrance told Julie,”I’m pretty upset with the houseguests because they had a chance to do something bold, and they went with a safer route. It was difficult to be nominated so many times, but I started to make it work for me, and it worked for a little while.

I love Michael’s competitive nature. I picked Taylor to play in the veto over Turner because I tried to bridge a gap with Taylor, but I should’ve stuck with Turner.

I absolutely loved this experience. It’s definitely different than watching it at home on TV.” Lastly, Terrance told Julie, “I want Taylor to go during the double eviction.”

Next, Julie told the remaining houseguests that it’s a double eviction episode. A week’s worth of game will be played in one night. Then, they played in the new HOH (Head Of Household) competition. It was titled, “Laser Focused.” It was a memory comp, and Turner just edged out Monte to win it. After that, Turner was seen talking with Alyssa about putting her and Brittany on the block, but he promised Alyssa she wasn’t his target.

At the nomination ceremony, Turner nominated Brittany and Alyssa for eviction. Then, they quickly went to go play in the new POV (Power Of Veto) competition. It was titled, “Amp it Up.” It was a physical competition. During it, they had to use their whole body to unravel enough cable to reach an amp and plug it in. The first person to do it, won, and Monte pulled out the victory.

Afterwards, Monte was seen telling Alyssa, “You’re coming down.” Then, he told Turner,”This is it. We’ve gotta make the move to get Michael out now,” and Turner agreed.

At the POV ceremony, Monte used his veto to take Alyssa off the block. Then, Turner put up Michael as a replacement nominee for Alyssa. Just before turner put up Michael, he tried to beg Turner not to put him saying, “You would be safe with me. Please don’t do this.” Obviously, it didn’t work.

Next, the eviction nominees Brittany and Michael gave their final plea speeches. Michael gave one hell of a speech to try and save himself. It involved throwing Brittany under the bus saying that she’s just trying to ride to the end or something. He also said that Monte and Turner will just use this to add to their resume. “If you keep me, I will go after them and take them out” and so on and so forth. It sounded pretty convincing. Brittany was stunned that Michael would say such things about her.

The rest of the houseguests minus HOH Turner casts their votes to evict. Monte, Alyssa and Taylor all voted to evict Michael. No one voted to evict Brittany. So, by a unanimous vote of 3-0, Michael was evicted from the Big Brother season 24 house tonight. Michael didn’t give anyone a hug and stormed out saying, “I have one thing I would like to say,” but he never said anything. He just left. It was kinda weird.

Michael gave his exit interview with Julie. He told Julie he didn’t really have anything to say when he left. In regards to throwing Brittany under the bus, he said, “I’m so sorry I had to throw Brittany under the bus. I would’ve regretted not trying to do something to save myself. They were right to vote me out.”

In reference to the guys’ alliance with Monte and Turner, Michael said, “I would’ve been loyal to Taylor if Brittany left. I was never down with the guys’ alliance. They were right to get me out. It was a good game move. So, I had to respect it.”

In reference to all of his competition wins, Michael said, “After I got to 5 wins, the target was already so big. So, I thought I might as well go for it. If my comp wins is what got me out, it is what it is. I always played a lot of weird games as a child, and it really helped me out with these Big Brother competitions.”

At the very end of tonight’s episode, Brittany was seen crying about Michael throwing her under the bus, but she said she understood he did what he needed to do to try and stay. The other houseguests agreed that it was just game play, and they thought a lot of the things he said were pretty convincing.

Next up, is the latest HOH competition. It’s scheduled to be played later on tonight. So, we’ll be back on here to give you guys the results of it after it’s completed.
