New Amsterdam Season 5, January 10, 2023 Episode 12 Delayed. It Didn’t Air
Hey, “New Amsterdam” fans. If you guys tuned in last night, January 10, 2023, to catch the latest episode 12 of New Amsterdam’s current season 5, we are quite sure that most of you were very disappointed to see that it indeed did not air. Yeah, apparently, it got delayed.
We do have some good news for you though. NBC has informed us through their official episode 12 press release that they do intend to air the new episode 12 next Tuesday night, January 17, 2023 in the 8 pm central standard time slot.
Yes, that is a different time slot than the usual 9 pm central time slot. The reason for that is because they are also going to air the new episode 13 on that same night in the 9 pm central time slot, and that will wrap up both this current season 5 and the series. That’s right, guys. Episodes 12 and 13 will be the last episodes of New Amsterdam forever. It’s ending with season 5.
We did find out what NBC aired instead of New Amsterdam last night. Apparently, they ditched New Amsterdam to provide LIVE coverage of the 2023, 80th Annual Golden Globe Awards. NBC’s official description for it reads like this, “Comic Jerrod Carmichael hosts the annual award show honoring achievements in both film and television.”
Spoiler Warning: Anyways, we were able to track down some new, official spoiler info for the final episodes 12 and 13 of New Amsterdam’s current and last season 5 from NBC’s official episodes 12 and 13 press releases.
They let us know that episode 12 is titled, “RIGHT PLACE.” Episode 13 is titled, “HOW CAN I HELP?” NBC’s official description for episode 12 reads like this, “Max and Wilder face a dilemma over approvals for a revolutionary cancer drug as Max learns a secret about his own bout with cancer. Reynolds goes the extra mile to correct a dire medical situation. Iggy tries desperately to help a woman in need, but finds the system is working against him.”
NBC’s official description for episode 13 reads like this,”In the series finale, everyone’s story reaches a surprising yet inevitable conclusion.”
Again, NBC confirmed that the next, new, finale episodes 12 and 13 of New Amsterdam’s current and final season 5 is scheduled to finally show up next Tuesday night, January 17, 2023, starting at approximately 8 pm central standard time.
