New 60 Minutes March 5, 2023 Episode Preview Revealed
Hey, “60 Minutes” fans. We are very happy to inform you that you guys will get another brand new episode of CBS’ hit news show 60 Minutes tonight, March 5, 2023. That’s right, guys. Tonight’s new episode will be episode 24 of 60 Minutes’ current season 55, and we’ve got a preview session for it to run by you guys.
The folks over at CBS gave us a new, official press release for tonight’s new, March 5, 2023 edition. So, that is certainly what we’ll be using as a source for this spoiler session. Let’s get into it.
The first description for tonight’s new episode reveals that the 60 Minutes team will do a segment they’ve titled,”PLEASE LET ME DIE.” In this segment, reporter Scott Pelley is going to interview a couple of female, Ukrainian soldiers that were held captive by the Russians during their war over there.
Apparently, a lot of the Ukranian soldiers are getting tortured when they get captured, and these female, Ukranian soldiers are going to share their experiences of being held prisoner, and their first moments of freedom.
CBS’official description for this Please Let Me Die segment reads like this, “Thousands of Ukrainians are being held captive by Russia as prisoners of war, and, according to the UN, many are being tortured. Scott Pelley interviewed three women soldiers who were recently released, including a military doctor who was pregnant during captivity. The soldiers share their harrowing, heartbreaking and heroic stories of life in prison as well as the first moments of freedom. Maria Gavrilovic is the producer.”
The description reveals that the 60 Minutes team will do a segment they’ve titled, “WHO IS MINDING THE CHATBOTS?” During it, reporter Lesley Stahl is going to take a deep look into the possible benefits and pitfalls of AI-powered chatbots. She will have a conversation with Brad Smith from Microsoft about Bing’s new AI search engine and chatbot.
CBS’ description for this “Who Is Minding The Chatbots?” segment reads like this, “This Sunday, Lesley Stahl explores the potential benefits and threats of AI-powered chatbots. Stahl meets with Microsoft’s Brad Smith to learn more about their newly launched AI search engine and chatbot, Bing. Ayesha Siddiqi is the producer.”
The 3rd and last description for tonight’s new March 5, 2023 episode tells us that the 60 Minutes team will have one more segment for you guys. It’s titled, “DAVID BYRNE.” During it, reporter Anderson Cooper is going to take a look at the musical career of David Byrne. He was the lead singer of a very popular 1970s and 1980s rock band called, “Talking Heads.” They broke up over 30 years ago, but David is still doing some creative things.
CBS’ description for this David Byrne segment reads like this, “Anderson Cooper profiles David Byrne, the lead singer and songwriter of Talking Heads, the influential post-punk rock band of the late 1970s and ‘80s. The band broke up more than 30 years ago, and ever since, Byrne has been on his own eclectic journey blurring the boundaries of music, theater and art. At 70, he’s as creative, energetic and unusual as ever. Michael Gavshon is the producer.”
CBS’ press release confirmed that tonight’s March 5, 2023 episode of 60 Minutes is brand new, and it’s scheduled to arrive at approximately 6 pm central standard time.
