New 20/20 March 17, 2023 Episode Preview Revealed
Hey, “20/20” fans. We are back with another brand new episode preview session for you guys because the folks over at ABC do have another new installment of 20/20 that they’re pitching out tonight, March 17, 2023. That’s right, guys. Tonight’s new episode will be the 24th one for 20/20’s current season 45.
We were able to track down an official description for tonight’s new episode from ABC’s official, March 17, 2023 episode press release. So, we’re going to certainly use it for this preview session. Let’s get into it.
First thing’s first. Tonight’s new episode of 20/20 is officially titled, “The Last Strike.” In tonight’s new episode, the 20/20 team is going to take a deep look at a story about Nikki Entzel. Nikki reported a house fire at her home in North Dakota back in 2020. The police found her husband Chad Entzel badly burned and still inside the house.
Upon further investigation, the detectives ,surely enough, found some inconsistencies with the story that Nikki pitched to them, and they suspected some foul play may have been involved. 20/20 is going to report about a dangerous love triangle that was going on between Nikki, Chad and a guy named Earl Howard, and how it played into this ugly conclusion.
20/20 is going to reveal some startling security camera footage that was uncovered. ABC News correspondent John Quinones is going to do an exclusive interview with Nikki from her jail cell, and she will give her side of the story. Earl’s side of the story will also be featured in this episode. There will be interview footage with the investigators, police, special agents, attorneys, friends and family members of Chad and more.
ABC’s official description for tonight’s new, March 17, 2023 episode reads like this, “When mother of two Nikki Entzel reported a house fire at her North Dakota home in January 2020, it appeared to be a senseless tragedy when police found her husband Chad Entzel’s badly burned body still inside. As investigators dug deeper, inconsistencies at the crime scene and in Nikki’s story revealed something more sinister at play.
A new “20/20” reports on the dangerous love triangle between Nikki, Chad and Earl Howard and how it ended with murder and arson. The two-hour program features shocking security camera footage documenting the events leading up to the crime. The episode also features ABC News correspondent John Quiñones’ exclusive jailhouse interview with Nikki, who explains her relationship with both men and what she claims really happened to her husband.
“20/20″ has exclusive police interrogation tapes featuring Earl Howard telling his side of the story for the first time. The program features tapes and additional interviews with investigators and officials who worked on the case, including Julie Lawyer, Burleigh County state’s attorney who prosecuted the case.
Mike Meese and Joe Arenz, North Dakota Bureau of Criminal Investigations special agents; Aaron Silbernagel, former Burleigh County Sheriff’s department sergeant; as well as friends and family members of Chad, such as Lori Kraus, his sister and Susie Entzel, his ex-wife.”
ABC’s press release confirmed that 20/20 will be brand new tonight, March 17, 2023, and it’s going to air in its usual, 8 pm central standard time slot. It will also be available on Hulu the next day.
