Big Brother August 8, 2024 Evicted Kenney Kelley In LIVE Eviction Episode (Recap)
Hey, “Big Brother” fans. Tonight, August 8, 2024, another new LIVE Eviction episode for Big Brother’s current season 26 did indeed air, and we saw the next unlucky houseguest get the eviction boot at the end of it.
Tonight’s new, LIVE eviction episode kicked off with footage of what happened in the house after the crazy events of the last POV Ceremony, which left Tucker and Kenney sitting on the block after Tucker made the dumbest move in Big Brother history by not using the veto on himself and on Angela instead. Then, HOH Cedric nominated Makensy to replace Angela. Then, Makensy used her America’s POV upgrade power to take herself off the block, leaving America to vote for the 3rd nominee.
Angela told the private cams, “I’m shocked. I get to watch the other houseguests squirm.” Cedric told the private cams, “I’d rather make Tucker mad than Quinn, and I tried to warn Tucker before the POV ceremony to use the veto on himself. So, that’s on him. Going against Quinn was not good for my game. So, I decided not to go through with the plan to nominate Quinn as a replacement nominee at the POV ceremony.”
Tucker kept telling Cedric, “You’re going to be a lone shark from here on out,” but Cedric’s Pentagon alliance told him, “We’ve got your back” after he told them what went down with Tucker leading up to the POV ceremony.
Some people kept asking Cedric exactly what was the plan that Tucker thought was going to happen. So, Cedric called a house meeting and asked Tucker to explain to everyone what he thought was going to happen.
Tucker told everyone the plan was to try and get Quinn on the block and vote him out to get rid of his deep fake HOH upgrade power. Quinn explained to Tucker, “I didn’t tell anyone I had the deep fake HOH power because I didn’t want to be targeted for having it.” For some reason, Tucker didn’t seem to buy this logical reasoning.
Brookyln told the private cams, “I still trust Quinn even though he didn’t tell us about his power. Our Pentagon alliance can still benefit from his power.”
Quinn told Cedric, “I didn’t wanna tell anyone about my power and have that be the only reason why people included me in stuff.” Cedric and Quinn agreed that they’re still working together.
Tucker kept denying that Cedric told him to use the veto on himself before the POV ceremony. (Production showed the footage of Cedric telling Tucker to use the veto on himself before the POV ceremony). So, Cedric was very truthful about that. Tucker went on to threaten Cedric saying, “I’ve got the numbers. I’m going to win the BB AI Arena competition, come back and take you out.” Cedric said, “Ok. If that’s what it is. Then, that’s what it is.”
Next, host Julie Chen-Moonves revealed that America voted for Quinn to be the 3rd nominee for eviction tonight. So, Tucker, Quinn and Kenney had to compete in the BB AI Arena competition. It was titled, “Data Dump.” It was a physical challenge involving retrieving and putting 20 red balls in a tube. Tucker won it, leaving Quinn and Kenney as the final eviction nominees for this week. They were given a couple of minutes to campaign to the other houseguests for votes.
After their campaigning time was up, Kenney and Quinn gave their final plea speeches. Quinn pitched that he will definitely try to take out Tucker next week. “Tucker is “the Lebron James of these challeneges,” he said.
After the plea speeches, the rest of the houseguests minus current HOH Cedric cast their votes to evict. Tucker voted to evict Quinn. T’Kor, Angela, Chelsie, Makensy, Brooklyn, Rubina, Cam, Kimo, Joseph, Leah all voted to evict Kenney. So, by a vote of 10-1, Kenney was evicted from the Big Brother season 26 house tonight.
Kenny gave his exit interview with host Julie Chen-Moonves. Kenney told Julie, “I’m very relieved that I got evicted. I greatly underestimated the emotions involved in playing this game. I’m really missing my family. I love them to death. If this was five years ago, I think I would’ve been a different player.
The first week after Matt left, I really started feeling the emotions. Matt helped me to keep it together when he was here. In terms of game play, I found it very difficult to try and manipulate people.” After all of that, Julie did mention that a special episode of Big Brother is airing on Tuesday night, August 13, 2024. So, keep that in mind for next week.
