New 20/20 December 20 Episode Delayed, Preempted. Not Airing Tonight
Hey, “20/20” fans. Unfortunately, we’re back on here with some bad news to spill to you guys. Yep, it turns out that the ABC people have some other TV obligations to attend to tonight, December 20, 2024. So, they will not be airing a new episode of 20/20 tonight.
According to the TV Guide people and other sources, it appears that this is just a one-week delay, and you guys can expect to see a new episode of 20/20 arrive next Friday night, December 27, 2024 in its usual, 8 pm central standard time slot. So, be sure to remember that very important date and time if you can.
We did find out what ABC’s other TV obligations are for tonight. According to the TV Guide listings, ABC has cleared out their entire Friday night line up tonight to provide LIVE coverage of a college football game featuring, the Indiana Hoosiers vs. The Notre Dame Fighting Irish.
ABC’s official description for their LIVE coverage of this college football game reads like this, “College Football. CFP First Round: Indiana at Notre Dame Live. The No. 7 Fighting Irish host the No. 10 Hoosiers for a College Football Playoff first-round game. The winner meets Georgia in the quarterfinals at the Sugar Bowl on New Year’s Day. The Indiana schools, located some 200 miles apart, last met in 1991.”
If any of you guys also happen to be college football fans, you might still want to tune into ABC tonight to catch their LIVE coverage of this game. If you are not a college football fan, and you only want to see a new episode of 20/20, you will certainly want to make some alternate plans for tonight as quickly as you can, and just check back next Friday night.
Again, it’s been confirmed by the TV Guide people that 20/20 is not airing tonight, December 20, 2024. The next, new episode of it is currently scheduled to arrive next Friday night, December 27, 2024 in its usual, 8 pm central standard time slot.
