New 20/20 January 24 Episode Preview Reveals Real Estate Murder Scandal And More
Hey, “20/20” fans. It’s time for us to give you a new preview session. In this one, we’re going to tell you what is coming up in the next, new episode 14 of this current season 47 of 20/20, which is due out tonight, January 24, 2025.
ABC dished up an official press release for this new episode 14. So, we will certainly reference it for this preview session. Let’s get to it.
For starters, there is an official title for tonight’s new episode 14. It’s called, “Explosive Secrets.” In tonight’s new episode 14, the 20/20 team will take a deep look at a story about a man named Gary Triano.
He was a famed real estate developer in the Tucson, Arizona area back in 1996 before he got murdered by a remote control pipe bomb that was attached to his car. When he started the ignition, it blew him up.
The investigators who worked this case, started discovering a trail of deceit, betrayal and revenge. ABC News correspondent Chris Connelly handled the reporting duties for this episode and case.
This episode features interviews with: retired ATF criminal investigator Anthony May; retired Detective James Crowley, Aspen Police Department; retired Detective James Gamber, Pima County Sheriff’s Department; and Kevin McDonald, Pamela’s former nanny, among others.
ABC’s official description for tonight’s new episode 14 of 20/20 season 47 reads like this, “Gary Triano was a successful real estate developer in Tucson, Arizona. In 1996, that all changed. After finishing a round of golf at an upscale Tucson club, Gary got into his car and, in an instant, the car was blown up by a remote-controlled pipe bomb.
For years, the case baffled authorities, but as investigators continued to search for a killer, a trail of deceit, betrayal and revenge began to reveal itself. ABC News correspondent Chris Connelly reports on this shocking murder in an all-new “20/20.”
An alternate description tells us, “AN ALL-NEW ’20/20′ INVESTIGATES THE SHOCKING MURDER OF FAMED REAL ESTATE DEVELOPER GARY TRIANO, AIRING FRIDAY, JAN. 24, ON ABC. A famed real estate developer is murdered in his car by a remote-controlled pipe bomb. Money, lies and revenge are the motivations, with evidence leading authorities on an international search to find the killers responsible.”
Again, ABC’s press release confirmed that another new episode of 20/20’s current season 47 is indeed scheduled to hit the air tonight, January 24, 2025 in the 8 pm central standard time slot.
