New 48 Hours January 25 Episode Preview Reveals Road Rage Murder Scandal And More
Hey, “48 Hours” fans. We’re back in action with another new preview session. In this one, we’ve got details for what you can expect to see in the next, new episode 16 of this current season 37 of 48 Hours, which is due to arrive tonight, January 24, 2025.
CBS put out an official press release for this new episode 16. So, we will certainly pull it up for this preview session. Let’s get to it.
For starters, there’s an official title for this new episode 16. It’s called, “The Ivy League Murder.” In tonight’s new episode 16, the 48 Hours team is going to take a deep look at a story about a guy named Kevin Jiang. He was a Yale graduate student and former Army National Guardsman before he was shot to death over in New Haven, Connecticut.
It appeared to be a road rage incident at first, but the investigators who worked this case eventually discovered that there was some obsession and premeditation that took place. Correspondent Anne-Marie Green handled the reporting duties for this episode and case.
CBS’ official description for this new episode 16 of 48 hours season 37 reads like this, “A bright future was shattered when newly engaged Kevin Jiang, 26, a Yale graduate student and former Army National Guardsman, was gunned down in New Haven, Conn. What appeared to be a road rage incident soon unraveled into a story of obsession and premeditation. Correspondent Anne-Marie Green reports on that 2021 night in “The Ivy League Murder.”
An alternate description tells us, “BRILLIANCE TURNED DEADLY: HOW AN MIT “GENIUS” ORCHESTRATED THE MURDER OF A YALE GRADUATE STUDENT AND ALMOST GOT AWAY WITH IT. A road rage incident unravels into a story of obsession and premeditation when Yale graduate student and former National Army Guardsman Kevin Jiang is gunned down in New Haven, Conn.”
Again, CBS’ press release confirmed that the next, new episode 16 of 48 Hours’ current season 37 is indeed scheduled to hit the air tonight, January 25, 2025 in the 9 pm central standard time slot. It will also be available for streaming on Paramount+.
