New 20/20 January 31 Episode Preview Reveals Murdered Husband, Death Threats & More
Hey, “20/20” fans. We’re back in your faces with another new preview session for your favorite ABC news show. In this session, we’re going to fill you in on what to expect from the next, new episode 15 of this current season 47, which is due to arrive tonight, January 31, 2025.
Thanks to ABC, we got a hold of an official press release for tonight’s new episode 15. So, we will certainly reference it in this preview session. Let’s get to it.
For starters, there is an official title for this new episode 15. It’s called “Run, Run, Run.” In tonight’s new episode 15, the 20/20 team is going to take a deep look at a story about a man named Alan Helmick. He was a successful businessman who lived a seemingly happy life with his second wife Miriam.
However, everything totally shattered when Miriam placed a 911 call to report that Alan had been murdered right inside their own house!
ABC News correspondent John Quiñones handled the reporting duties for this episode and case. This episode features interviews with: Miriam Helmick; Chris Giles, Miriam’s son; Bob Cucchetti, Alan’s friend; Aline Lee, Miriam’s former neighbor and friend; Jeri Yarbrough, Miriam’s friend; Mesa County prosecutor Rich Tuttle; Mesa County Sheriff’s office investigator Robin Martin; and Delta Police Department Sgt. Shon Wells.
ABC’s official description for this new episode 15 of 20/20 season 47 reads like this, “Alan Helmick was a successful businessman who met his second wife, Miriam, while attending a dance class that she taught. The couple went on to live a seemingly happy life on a sprawling horse ranch, and Alan helped Miriam open her own dance studio to pursue her passion for teaching.
This union was shattered when Miriam called 911 to report her husband had been murdered in their home. ABC News correspondent John Quiñones reports on an all-new “20/20.”
An alternate description tells us, “’20/20′ INVESTIGATES THE DEATH OF ALAN HELMICK ON AN ALL-NEW EPISODE AIRING FRIDAY, JAN. 31, AND STREAMING THE NEXT DAY ON HULU.
A loving husband is found murdered in his home. Weeks later, his wife receives a chilling death threat on her doorstep. Investigators are left to unravel a web of dark secrets dating back decades.”
Again, ABC confirmed that another new episode of 20/20 is indeed scheduled to hit your TV screens tonight, January 31, 2025 in the 8 pm central standard time slot.
