New 20/20 February 7 Episode Reveals Insurance Salesman Murder Scandal And More
Some new 20/20 preview information just got released. In this preview session, we’ve got new details for what is coming up in the next, new episode 16 of this current season 47 of 20/20, which is due to hit the air tonight, February 7, 2025.
ABC dished up an official press release for this new episode 16. So, we will certainly tell you everything it has to say right now. Let’s get to it.
For starters, ABC let us know that this new episode is officially labeled/titled, “File M For Murder.”
In tonight’s new episode 16, the 20/20 team will take a deep look at a story about a St. Charles, Missouri man named Bob Eidman. He was an insurance salesman before he was sadly murdered right in his own office via a fatal gunshot wound in broad daylight.
The investigators who worked this case thought his wife was a prime suspect at first since they found some evidence of a secret relationship that was going on. However, some new DNA technology eventually helped the investigators track down the real killer.
ABC News correspondent Chris Connelly handled the reporting duties for this episode and case. It features interviews with: St. Cloud police officer Dean Mayer, detectives Don Stepp and Stefanie Kaiser, Sgt. Billy Wilcox and Bob Eidman’s family members Glen and Pam Eidman, among others.
ABC’s official description for this new episode 16 of 20/20 season 47 reads like this, “When St. Charles, Missouri, authorities are called to the office of insurance salesman Bob Eidman, they’re shocked to find his lifeless body with an apparent gunshot wound, killed by an assailant in broad daylight.
But what initially seemed like a straightforward homicide case quickly spiraled into a series of possible motives, suspects and clues leading to possible motives and suspects that shocked law enforcement as they searched for answers and a killer. ABC News correspondent Chris Connelly reports on this chilling case in an all-new “20/20.”
An alternate description tells us, “When a beloved insurance salesman is murdered in his office in a quiet Missouri town, evidence points to a secret relationship, making his wife the prime suspect – until new DNA technology helps authorities find the real killer.”
Again, ABC’s press release confirmed that another new episode of 20/20’s current season 47 is indeed scheduled to hit the air tonight, February 7, 2025 in the 8 pm central standard time slot. It will be a two-hour event. So, expect it to wrap up at 10 pm central standard time.
