Chicago Fire March 12 & 19 Episodes Not New. Episode 16 Delayed. Not Airing For A While
It’s confirmed that the folks over at NBC are not airing the next, new episode 16 of Chicago Fire’s current season 13 tonight, March 12, 2025, and next Wednesday night, March 19. We’re not sure why NBC chose this path, but they did let us know when they plan to finally air the new episode 16.
It’s going to be in two weeks according to NBC’s official episode 16 press release information. The exact airdate is scheduled for Wednesday night, March 26, 2025. During that time, it will air in its usual, 8 pm central standard time slot. So, certainly try to remember that very important date and time if you can.
As for tonight and next Wednesday night, TV Guide is telling us that NBC is going to deliver a repeat episode and a new, LIVE music special. The repeat episode is going to land in tonight’s time slot. It will be for Chicago Med’s 11th episode of its current season 10 titled, “In the Trenches: Part II.”
NBC’s official description for the repeat episode 11 of Chicago Med season 10 reads like this, “Following the subway tunnel collapse, Ruzek and Kidd treat injured passengers and track down the missing offender. Archer and Frost perform a life-saving amputation. Lenox feels the weight of the CPD’s hopes as she fights to save one of their own.”
Next Wednesday night, March 19, 2025, NBC is going to air a new, LIVE music special titled,”Opry 100: A Live Celebration.”
NBC’s official description for their LIVE coverage of this new music special reads like this, “Blake Shelton hosts festivities honoring 100 years of the Grand Ole Opry. Scheduled performers include Ashley McBryde, Brad Paisley, Carly Pearce, Carrie Underwood, Clint Black, Dierks Bentley, Garth Brooks, Kelsea Ballerini and Lainey Wilson.”
Again, NBC confirmed that the next, new episode 16 of Chicago Med’s current season 13 is scheduled to finally make its way to the air on Wednesday night, March 26, 2025 in its usual, 8 pm central standard time slot.
