Chicago PD March 12 & 19 Episodes Not New. Episode 16 Delayed. Not Airing For A While
NBC is officially confirmed to not air the next, new episode 16 of Chicago PD’s current season 12 tonight, March 12, 2025, and next Wednesday night, March 19. We’re not sure what the reason is for this delay, but we can tell you that NBC gave us an official air date for the new episode 16 via their official episode 16 press release information.
It’s telling us that NBC plans to finally serve up the new episode 16 on Wednesday night, March 26, 2025 in its usual, 9 pm central standard time slot. So, certainly look for the new episode 16 to finally show up on that important date.
As for tonight, TV Guide is telling us that NBC is going to air a repeat episode of Chicago PD. This repeat episode will be episode 11 of this current season 12 titled, “In the Trenches: Part III.”
NBC’s official description for the repeat episode 11 of Chicago PD season 12 reads like this, “With the suspects still at large and conditions worsening underground, first responders race against the clock to reach the trapped victims, while the investigation into the assailants comes into focus.”
Next, Wednesday night, March 19, 2025, TV Guide is telling us that NBC is going to provide LIVE coverage for a new music special titled, “March 19 Opry 100: A Live Celebration.”
NBC’s official description for their LIVE coverage of this new music special reads like this, “Blake Shelton hosts festivities honoring 100 years of the Grand Ole Opry. Scheduled performers include Ashley McBryde, Brad Paisley, Carly Pearce, Carrie Underwood, Clint Black, Dierks Bentley, Garth Brooks, Kelsea Ballerini and Lainey Wilson.” It will be a 3-hour event, starting at 7 pm central standard time.
Again, NBC confirmed that the next, new episode 16 of Chicago PD’s current season 12 is scheduled to finally make its debut on your TV sets on Wednesday night, March 26, 2025 in its usual, 9 pm central standard time slot.
