New Bachelorette 2026 Season Canceled By ABC Due To New Video Evidence

According to TMZ and a couple of other news outlets, the people over at ABC have decided to go ahead and cancel the new 2026 edition of The Bachelorette with headliner Taylor Frankie Paul.

Apparently, a new video from 2023 just surfaced, featuring her getting into a huge fight with the father of her child Dakota Mortensen, and it is really bad.

TMZ posted the video, and it shows Taylor getting into a fight with her ex Dakota Mortensen, and she is definitely the one doing most of the fighting. It’s not light fighting either. This woman is seen, jumping on Dakota, trying to choke him.

Then, she resorts to throwing chairs at him right in front of her little daughter. Dakota tries to point out that her daughter is in the room, and she just keeps screaming and throwing chairs at him! It’s pretty disturbing.

TMZ went on to say that a spokesperson for Disney confirmed the cancellation of Taylor’s Bachelorette season stating, “In light of the newly released video just surfaced today, we have made the decision to not move forward with the new season of ‘The Bachelorette’ at this time, and our focus is on supporting the family.”

ABC told them that they made the decision to cancel the season this past Thursday morning, March 19, 2026 just a few hours after TMZ released the video of Taylor attacking Dakota. ABC told them that they had never seen this video before TMZ posted it.

Currently, the Utah Division Of Children and family Services is running an investigation into more allegations of violence between Taylor and Dakota. Taylor and Dakota have also been ordered to take some psych exams due to new spousal abuse claims that have come out.

TMZ also mentioned that Taylor Frankie Paul’s other reality show “The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives” has also stopped production due to this new video release.

Taylor’s Bachelorette season was scheduled to make its big premiere this Sunday night, March 22, 2026, but again, it has been completely canceled. So, the super long pause of The Bachelorette franchise will continue for now. ABC also didn’t deliver a new season of The Bachelorette in 2025. This cancellation will make it two years that the show has not aired.

Again, ABC has canceled the new Bachelorette 2026 season due to the Taylor Frankie Paul domestic violence video from 2023, which just released this past Thursday morning, March 19, 2026.
