Ugliest House In America August 31 New Episode Not Airing. Season 8 Has Ended
According to our sources over at The Futon Critic , the most recent episode 6 of Ugliest House In America, which aired last Monday night, August 24, 2026, was indeed the season finale episode for the show’s current season 8. So, HGTV will not have a new episode to air for it tonight, August 31, 2026, and for the indefinite future.
Additionally, The Futon Critic is telling us that HGTV has not currently renewed the for show a new season 9. So, that last episode 6 could’ve been it forever. We’ll have to wait and see. The show’s future fate has yet to be determined.
According to USTVDB and their sources, the most recent season 8 did perform quite well for HGTV by averaging anywhere between 500,000 and over a million viewers per episode. That’s pretty damn good for a cable show. If it got renewed for a new season 9, we would not be shocked.
For now, HGTV is telling us that they plan to fill in tonight’s empty time slot with a repeat episode of their new reality series, “Totally ’90s House.” It’s the premiere episode 1 of its new season 1 titled, “The Nineties Are Back.” It featured two teams of celebrities from the 90s doing renovation work on some 90s kitchen setups to bring them up to date.
If any of you guys find that new series to be enticing at all, you might still want to flip on HGTV tonight to check out the encore presentation of episode 1. If not, you will certainly want to make some other plans for Monday nights at that particular time moving forward.
Again, our sources have confirmed that the current season 8 of Ugliest House in America did end with last week’s episode 6. So, HGTV will not be showing anymore new episodes of it for an indefinite period time.
