Lioness New Season 4 Still In Question. Paramount Plus Hasn’t Renewed It Yet
Today, September 20, 2026, Paramount Plus released the next, new episode 8 of Lioness’ current season 3 onto their streaming platform, and it was the season finale episode. So, we did go searching to see if the network had given the show a new season 4 renewal.
Unfortunately, we’re hearing from a lot of different sources at this time, including People.com that Paramount Plus has not yet ordered a new season 4 renewal order for the show. However, we’re being told that is not much of a surprise because Paramount Plus had apparently taken their sweet, everlasting time to renew Lioness after its second season wrapped up.
They’re telling us it took approximately 11 months for Paramount Plus to issue a new season 3 renewal order. Yep, that’s plenty of time for people to totally lose interest.
Hopefully, if their is a new season 4, Paramount Plus won’t take quite that long to renew it. We’ll have to wait and see.
People.com did go on to mention that Bobby star Jill Wagner revealed that she totally believes a new season 4 will happen. They say she told the people over Screen Rant that she’s so very confident in what the creator Taylor Sheridan wrote for the season 3 finale that there just as to be a new season 4. In fact, she was willing to bet $100 bucks on it!
The season 3 finale did end with the idea of there’s more story that needs to be told in this series. So, we can tell that the writers certainly want to keep this thing going. We’ll just have to wait and see what Paramount Plus decides at some point in the future.
Again, multiple sources have confirmed that Paramount Plus has yet to renew Lioness for a brand new season 4 at this time. The show’s future fate is still currently being decided.
