Celebrity Weakest Link September 28 New Episode 2 To Feature Actors From Host Jane Lynch’s Past
According to FOX, they are officially scheduled to air another new installment of their hit game show, “Celebrity Name That Tune” tonight, September 28, 2026, and it will feature a bunch of actor friends of fellow host/actress Jane Lynch. This episode is the second one for this current season 2.
According to FOX’s official episode 2 press release information, the producers decided to name/title this episode, “8 More Degrees of Jane.”
The preview information from FOX’s episode description is telling us that a total of 8 new celebrities are going to show up to battle it out. But, these aren’t just any celebrities. Oh, no, no, no. These are all good friends of host Jane Lynch.
They are: actress, producer, writer and host Yvette Nicole Brown, actress Kate Flannery, actor Billy Gardell, comedian/actress Loni Love, actor/singer Kevin McHale, actress/tv host Melissa Peterman, comedian/actor Paul Scheer, and actor Scott Wolf.
FOX noted that these celebs won’t get any special treatment from Jane as they will still have to answer the questions correctly or get voted off for being the weakest link. As always, they will playing to try and win up to a whopping $1 million dollars for their favorite charities.
In this game, the contestants get hit with a set of general knowledge questions in each round. They try to correctly answer them to win money. After each round, they all vote for and eliminate who they perceive to be the weakest link. This continues until they are down to just two players. Those two players then battle it out to take the total cash pot for their charity.
Again, FOX’s press release confirmed that they are officially scheduled to air this new episode of Celebrity Weakest Link’s current season 2 tonight, September 28, 2026 in the 8 pm central standard time slot. It will be a 1-hour event. So, expect it to conclude at 9 pm central time.
