Dancing With The Stars September 29 Eliminated Taylor Hanson & Britt Stewart (Recap)
Earlier tonight, September 29, 2026, ABC aired another LIVE performances/results episode for Dancing With The Stars’ current season 35, and we saw another unlucky couple get the elimination shaft at the end of it.
All the judges: Carrie Ann Inaba, Bruno Tonioli, and Derek Hough were on hand once again to dish out their critiques and so on and so forth. The theme for tonight’s episode was “Yacht Rock Night.” So, they performed dances to only soft-rock classics songs.
To kick off tonight’s LIVE performances, Amber Glenn and her pro partner Pasha Pashkov danced a Foxtrot routine to “Hold the Line” by Toto. Afterwards, Carrie Ann gave them an 8 score, Derek an 8, Bruno an 8 for a total of 24 points out of a possible 30 points.
Julia Stiles and her pro partner Ezra Sosa performed a Salsa number to “I Can’t Go for That (No Can Do)” by Daryl Hall & John Oates. Afterwards, Carrie Ann gave them a 6 score, Derek a 7, Bruno a 6 for a total of 19 points.
Guillermo Rodriguez and his pro partner Witney Carson served up a Foxtrot dance to the song, “Escape (The Piña Colada Song)” by Rupert Holmes. Afterwards, Carrie Ann gave them a 5 score, Derek a 5, Bruno a 5 for a total of 15 points.
Tatyana Ali and her pro partner Jan Ravnik delivered a Quickstep routine to the song, “Maneater” by Daryl Hall and John Oates. Afterwards, Carrie Ann gave them a 7 score, Derek a 7, Bruno a 7 for a total of 21 points.
Harry Shum Jr. and his pro partner Jenna Johnson danced a Jive number to “You Make My Dreams (Come True)” by Daryl Hall and John Oates. Afterwards, Carrie Ann gave them an 8 score, Derek an 8, Bruno an 8 for a total of 24 points.
Taylor Hanson and his pro partner Britt Stewart performed a Foxtrot dance to “What a Fool Believes” by The Doobie Brothers. Afterwards, Carrie Ann gave them a 6 score, Derek a 6, Bruno a 6 for a total of 18 points.
Maura Higgins and her pro partner Mark Ballas delivered a Quickstep routine to the song, “Turn Your Love Around” by George Benson. Afterwards, Carrie Ann gave them a 7 score, Derek a 7, Bruno an 8 for a total of 22 points.
Ciara Miller and her pro partner Brandon Armstrong danced a Cha Cha to the song, “Never Too Much” by Luther Vandross. Afterwards, Carrie Ann them a 6 score, Derek a 6, Bruno a 6 for a total of 18 points.
Jackson Olson and his pro partner Emma Slater delivered a Paso Doble routine to the song, “Easy Lover” by Philip Bailey and Phil Collins. Afterwards, Carrie Ann gave them a 6 score, Derek a 6, Bruno a 6 for a total of 18 points.
Connor Wood and his pro partner Rylee Arnold performed a Foxtrot number to the song, “Everywhere” by Fleetwood Mac. Afterwards, Carrie Ann gave them a 7 score, Derek a 6, Bruno a 7 for a total of 20 points.
Jenna Dewan and her pro partner Val Chmerkovskiy danced a Samba routine to the song, “Africa” by Toto. Afterwards, Carrie Ann gave them a 7 score, Derek a 7, Bruno a 7 for a total of 21 points.
Tyler Cameron and his pro partner Sharna Burgess delivered a Jive routine to the song, “Still the One” by Orleans. Afterwards, Carrie Ann gave them a 5 score, Derek a 6, Bruno a 6 for a total of 17 points.
To wrap up tonight’s performances, Ezra Frech and his pro partner Daniella Karagach served up a Foxtrot routine to the song, “Just the Two of Us” by Grover Washington Jr. featuring Bill Withers. Afterwards, Carrie Ann gave them a 7 score, Derek a 7, Bruno a 7 for a total of 21 points.
To conclude tonight’s episode, hosts Alfonso Ribeiro and Julianne Hough revealed that all the couples were safe for tonight except for Taylor Hanson and Britt Stewart. So, they were eliminated.
