CBS 48 Hours October 10 Episode Not Airing Tonight
According to TV Guide, the people over at CBS are not going to air a new or repeat episode of their hit news/documentary series, “48 Hours” tonight, October 10, 2026, despite them being previously reported to start airing new episodes again on this date.
We’re not sure what happened, but for some reason, it’s just not going to happen this week. We are being told by TV Guide that CBS is listed to air a new episode of 48 Hours next Saturday night, October 17, 2026, but we don’t have any details for it because CBS has not put out an official press release for it yet. So, we’re just going to have to wait until they do to give any real confirmation of that.
As for tonight, we’re being told by TV Guide that CBS is going to instead re-air the 2026 MTV Video Music Awards event in the 7 pm to 9:30 pm central standard time slot tonight. Then, in that 9:30 pm central time slot, they’re going to air a repeat/encore presentation of the Eternally Yours’ premiere episode 1.
For those of you who don’t know, “Eternally Yours” is a new vampire sitcom of theirs. So, if that sounds interesting to any you, you might still want to flip on CBS tonight to catch all of that.
If you’re still just looking for a new 48 Hours episode, you will definitely want to make some alternate plans for tonight and check back next Saturday night to see if that new 48 Hours episode is going to finally arrive or not. We will certainly post a preview of it if CBS puts out an official press release for it by next Saturday.
Again, TV Guide is reporting that CBS is not airing a new or repeat episode of 48 Hours tonight, October 10, 2026. That is all we’ve got for this latest,”48 Hours” TV show report, but definitely stay tuned for more.
