The Amazing Race October 14 Eliminated Cody & Jaime (Recap)
Earlier tonight, October 14, 2026, CBS aired another new episode for The Amazing Race’s current season 39, and another unlucky team did get eliminated by the time it was over. In fact, we saw two teams make their exit in this episode because they picked up from where last week left off to show who got eliminated from that leg.
The continuation from last week’s episode revealed that Doug and Dylan were able to just snag the very important 10th place spot to just narrowly avoid elimination. That was unfortunately not the case for Jody & Jenn. They finished last, and they were eliminated.
After all of that, the remaining teams got started with the new leg of this episode. They had to take a taxi to get their next clue. When they got there, they were hit with the Moroccan Scramble . It required them to complete three challenges titled: “Rug Run, ” “Slipper Search,” and “Dye and Dry.”
In the “Rug Run” challenge, they had to pick up a 9 foot Morrcian rug. Then, take it to the top of a roof top and lay it out to get their next clue. In the “Slipper Search” challenge, they had to pick up slippers and find a matching pair to get their next clue.
In the “Dye And Dry” challenge, they had to dye some yarn to get their next clue. Dafina & Saran used their roadside assistance advantage to skip the slipper search challenge.
After successfully finishing up all three of their challenges, the teams had to head to the pitstop for this leg of the race. Michelle & Matthew arrived in first place and won a trip for two to Okinawa, Japan.
Andrea & Anuar took 2nd place, Erin & Javi came in 3rd place, Daisha & Dalton claimed the 4th spot, Connor & Garret came in 5th place. Saran & Dafina showed up in 6th place. Ann Marie & Riley took the 7th spot. Ali & Joanna finished in 8th place. Doug & Dylan finished in the very important 9th spot to just narrowly escape elimination. Cody & Jaime finished last, and they did get eliminated for it. They said, “Thanks for the opportunity. This an incredible experience that we will cherish for life.”
