The Voice October 19 Eliminated Harmony McKee, Wade Turner And More (Recap)
Earlier tonight, NBC aired another new Battles episode for The Voice’s current season 30, and another couple of unlucky contestants did get eliminated by the time it was over.
All the coaches/judges: Kelly Clarkson, Riley Green, Queen Latifah and Adam Levine were all on hand once again. Carly Pearce showed up in this episode as a guest advisor for Team Riley, Ariana DeBose for Team Kelly, Patti LaBelle for Team Queen Latifah, and Alex Warren for Team Adam.
Brandon Diaz went up against Bryan Jaymes for Queen Latifah to kick off the Battles in this episode. The sang the song titled, “As.” Afterwards, Queen Latifah picked Bryan to be the winner. Adam used his steal to steal Brandon. So, Brandon was rescued from elimination by Adam, and he is now on Adam’s team.
Team Riley’s Allie Rae battled Harmony McKee to the song,”Ain’t No Sunshine.” Afterwards, Riley picked Allie Rae to be the winner. No one chose to steal Harmony so she was sadly eliminated.
Team Adam’s Owen Uffens battled Wade Turner to the song, “Dive.” Afterwards, Adam chose Owen to be the winner. No one chose to steal Wade so he was eliminated.
Team Kelly’s Kyle Davis battled Matthew Chiu to the song, “Take Me Home.” Afterwards, Kelly chose Kyle to be the winner. No one chose to steal Matthew so he was eliminated.
Team Adam’s Amanda Mikkel battled Julia Clark to the song, “Can’t Help Falling In Love.” Afterwards, Adam chose Amanda to be the winner. No one chose to steal Julia so she was eliminated.
Team Kelly’s Brianna Cameron battled Saade to wrap up the battles for this episode. They sang the song, “Mercy.” Afterwards, Kelly picked Brianna to be the winner. No one chose to steal Saade so she was eliminated.
To recap, Bryan Jaymes, Allie Rae, Owen Uffens, Kyle Davis, Amanda Mikkel and Brianna Cameron all won their battles to advance to the new “Cut Week.” Brandon Diaz was stolen by coach Adam Levine to also advance to the new “Cut Week.”
Harmony McKee, Wade Turner, Matthew Chiu, Julia Clark and Saade lost their battles, and were not stolen by a different coach. So, they were all sadly eliminated in this episode. How do you guys feel about that? Let us know in the comments section.
