The Amazing Race October 28 Eliminated No One (Recap)
Earlier tonight, October 28, 2026, CBS aired another new episode for The Amazing Race’s current season 39. It kicked off with the remaining teams learning they had to go to the Pyramid Of Tirana to get their first clue for this leg of the race. When they got there, they had to walk all the way to the top of the pyramid, which was 250 steps to get their next clue.
When they got it, they were told they had to drive to Jurgen Resort to get their next clue. When they got there, each team had to work with another team at the Intersection. Two people from different teams had to successfully learn a dance and perform it to get their next clue.
Daisha and Michelle got paired up to do the dance. Riley & Joanna got paired. Erin was paired with Dylan. After successfully completing the dance challenge, the teams had to go to St. Paul’s Cathedral to get their next clue. When they got there, they got hit with their detours for this leg of the race.
They got to choose to do either the “Heads” detour, or the “Tales” detour. In the “Heads” detour, the teams had to successfully make a clay hat to get their next clue.
In the “Tales” detour, the teams had to learn a tale in Abanian and English and successfully recite it to get their next clue. Michelle & Matthew secretly used their Express pass to skip the Heads detour after lying to everyone about not having it. So, it was really important that they used it without any of the other teams knowing about it. They successfully pulled that off. Conner & Garret used their Express pass to skip the Tales detour.
After the teams successfully completed their detours, they were told to go to Mother Albania, which was the pit stop for this leg of the race. Matthew & Michelle made it to the pit stop in first place, and won a trip for two to Alberta, Canada from Expedia.
Daisha & Dalton took second place. Conner & Garret claimed the 3rd spot. Anuar & Andrea took 4th place. Erin & Javi came in 5th place. Ann Marie & Riley took the 6th spot. Joanna & Ali finished in 7th place. Dylan & Doug finished last, but host Phil Keoghan told them it was a non-elimination leg. So, they will get to race another day! However, they will have to complete a penalty challenge in the next leg in order to continue.
After that, there was some runtime time left for this episode. So, it showed the teams starting the next leg. They were told that they had to go to Sri Lanka to start the next leg. It even showed them arriving in Sri Lanka. When they got there, Phil told them that they will have to do a LIVE Double U-Turn vote, which will continue in next week’s new episode.
Again, no one was eliminated in tonight’s episode due to it being a non-elimination leg. That is a wrap for this latest, “The Amazing Race” TV show, recap report, but definitely stay tuned for more.
