New 48 Hours November 23 Episode Delayed, Preempted. Not Airing Tonight
Hey, “48 Hours” fans. Unfortunately, we have some very bad news for you guys in this article. It turns out that the CBS people have some other TV obligations to attend to tonight. So, they will not air a new episode of 48 Hours tonight, November 23, 2024.
On a much brighter note, we are hearing that CBS should be back with another brand new episode of 48 Hours next Saturday night, November 30, 2024 in its usual, 9 pm central standard time slot. So, certainly be on the lookout for that new episode next week.
We did track down why CBS is not airing a new episode of 48 Hours tonight. According to the TV Guide listings, CBS has cleared out almost their entire, Saturday night line up to provide LIVE coverage for a NWSL Soccer game.
CBS’ official description for their LIVE coverage of this NWSL Soccer game reads like this, “NWSL Soccer. Washington Spirit vs. Orlando Pride Live. Washington plays Orlando in the NWSL championship game from CPKC Stadium. The Spirit have a chance at a second league title in four years after outlasting Gotham FC via penalties in the semifinals. The Shield-winning Pride took out the Current 3-2.”
We’re being told this coverage will last up until 9:30 pm. Then, CBS is going to slip in a repeat episode of 48 Hours that’s supposed to only last 30 minutes, which is pretty strange. Whatever the case, this repeat episode is the 16th one for last season 36 titled, “Capturing Moriah Wilson’s Killer.” It originally aired back on January 27, 2024. CBS’ official description for it reads like this, “An inside look at the international hunt for the killer of cyclist Moriah Wilson.”
If any of you guys find this alternate line of programming to be enticing at all, you might still want to keep CBS on your watchlist tonight to check it out. If that’s not the case, and you only want more new episodes of 48 Hours, you will certainly want to make some alternate plans for tonight and check back next Saturday night.
Again, it’s been confirmed that CBS is not airing a new episode of 48 Hours tonight, November 23, 2024, but they are scheduled to air a new one next Saturday night, November 30, 2024 in its usual, 9 pm central standard time slot.
