Landman New Season 3 Is Happening. Paramount Plus Renewed It

Today, January 18, 2026, Paramount Plus served up the very last episode 10 of Landman’s current season 2. So, that leaves us to wonder if Paramount Plus renewed the show for a brand new season 3 so we can see some more new episodes.

Well, according to the folks over at Deadline.com and a couple of other news outlets, it is confirmed that Paramount Plus did indeed renew Landman for a new season 3.

So, you guys will get to see another new batch of episodes show up at some point in the future. The renewal announcement actually occurred back in early December 2025. So, Paramount didn’t really have any doubts about renewing the show.

Currently, we don’t have a premiere date or episode count for the new season 3, but if we base things on how the first two seasons played out, we should expect to see the new season 3 make its arrival in mid-November of 2026 with about a 10-episode count. Again, that’s just a guess that’s solely based on how the schedule for the first two seasons played out.

We will have to wait for an official announcement from Paramount Plus to be 100 percent sure about that. I think that’s a really good guess though.

Deadline is also reporting that Billy Bob Thornton has confirmed that his Tommy Norris character will return in season 3 even though he’s been kicked out of the M-Tex Oil company. He told USA Today, “There’s an AI report that Demi Moore and I are a couple now, and there’s one that I’m leaving the show. They have nothing to do with reality.”
