Nation’s Dumbest August 26 Eliminated Matt Leinart. He Graduated And Left (Recap)

Earlier tonight, August 26, 2026, FOX aired another new episode of Nation’s Dumbest’s season 1, and another celebrity contestant did graduate and got the heck out of there.

This episode kicked off with the five remaining celebrities: Hilaria Baldwin, JoJo Siwa, Matt Leinart, Chase Hudson and Anthony Michael Hall.

They got hit with the usual logic test first. This one required the them to find a way to keep a ping pong bowl from floating to the top of a bowl of water. They were given various tools to try and make this happen. However, the winning solution was a cup. If they realized they just needed to place the cup over the ping pong ball, they won three stars.

In the logic test, Hilaria got it right, JoJo got it right, Chase got it right, Matt got it right, and Anthony got it right. There’s was a major celebration for Anthony because he lost all the previous logic tests. They all got three stars.

The next challenge/test required them to match inventions to the years they were invented. Anthony got two right. Matt got two right. Jojo got two right. Hilaria got one right. Chase got three right. Everyone got a star except for Hilaria.

The next challenge/test was a science-based quiz. During it, JoJo answered her question wrong to lose a star. Anthony lost a star. Hilaria answered her question correct to earned a star. Chase lost a star, and Matt earned a star.

The next test paired them up into two teams for a science fair challenge: Hilaria, JoJo and Matt made up the Red team. Chase and Anthony made up the Blue team. In this challenge, they had to put a row of canisters in the right order via some words that were on the canisters that needed to be matched to the correct answers to corresponding questions. The Red team of Hilaria, JoJo and Matt won it to earn a star. Anthony and Chase lost a star.

So, Chase and Anthony only had one star going into the final exam, while JoJo, Hilaria and Matt had a full deck of three stars.

As always, in final exam, the celebs who could hold onto their stars the longest, won/graduated. They lost a star for every question they got wrong. Chase and Matt were out the quickest with their one, lonely star.

So, it came down to Matt, JoJo and Hilaria. After a few more questions, Matt was able win by holding on to at least two of his stars while JoJo and Hilaria lost all their stars. So, Matt passed the final exam, graduated and got the heck out of there!

Matt told the private cams, “This has been quite the experience for me. I really learned mental toughness. Hall of Shame no longer. I’m so glad that I graduated and never have to go back to school.”
