Lanterns September 6 New Episode 4 Spoilers Reveal Hal Is Told He Needs To Kill John Stewart & More
According to HBO, they are officially set to air the next, new episode 4 of Lanterns’ current, premiere season 1 next Sunday night, September 6, 2026, and it will feature Hal Jordan getting told that he totally needs to kill John Stewart in a very disturbing conversation with Sinestro.
HBO has yet to release an official title or synopsis for this episode, but they did serve up an official preview clip for it. So, that is what we’re working with as a spoiler source for this session. Let’s get into it.
The new video starts off with a Hal Jordan and Sinestro conversation, and it keeps that conversation going throughout the entire clip. Sinestro asks Hal, “Why don’t you tell me about John Stewart?” Hal says, “He’s a contingency plan. A backup.”
Sinestro says, “You don’t really believe he’s your backup do you, Hal?” Hal says, “No.” Sinestro says, “Is he fearless?” Hal says, “He may be.” Sinestro says, “Well, then he can be controlled. Then, he will be arrogant. Thus, blindly oblivious to your true intent. You really will need to kill John Stewart.”
These conversation scenes are accompanied by a barrage of different scenes in between the dialogue that features a lot of action, and a huge explosion of some sort. You guys can view the new preview clip over on Youtube by Clicking Here.
Again, HBO confirmed that they are scheduled to air this new episode 4 of Lanterns’ current, premiere season 1 next Sunday night, September 6, 2026 in the 8 pm central standard time slot.
