Nation’s Dumbest September 9 Eliminated Anthony Michael Hall (Recap)

Earlier tonight, September 9, 2026, FOX aired another new installment of Nation’s Dumbest, and another lucky celebrity graduated and got the hell out of there at the end of it.

Tonight’s new episode kicked off with the final three celebrities: Antony Michael Hall, Hilaria Baldwin and Chase Hudson showing up with one of their family members.

Hilaria arrived with her husband Alec Baldwin. Chase arrived with his father Cole. Anthony arrived with his wife Lucia. Each of the pairs took the logic test together. During it, they had to make it through some sort of square maze to make it to each other. They were given 5 minutes to do it. Hilaria and Alec failed it. Chase and Cole completed it to win a star. Anthony and Lucia completed it to win a star.

Next, there was a segment that featured Alec taking a look at Hilaria’s highlights from this season. Then, they all did another challenge, which was called, “The family classroom” test. During it, they had to answer at least 2 out of 3 questions right to get a star.

Anthony and Lucia failed and lost a star. Chase and Cole passed and won a star. Hilaria and Alec passed and won for a star.

Chase and Cole took a look at Chase’s highlights from this season. Cole gave Chase some advice saying, “Go with the first answer that comes to your mind. It’s usually the right one. Trust yourself.”

Next, the celebrities did the solo field challenge. During it, they had to run across a shaky bridge and correctly answer as many questions as they could in a certain amount of time. Chase got 7 correct answers to win a star. Anthony got 8 correct answers to win a star. Hilaria got 6 correct answers, and lost a star for getting the least amount of correct answers.

After that, Lucia and Anthony took a look at his highlights for this season. Lucia told him, “You just need to keep going and believe in yourself.”

To cap this episode off, they did the final exam round. Chase and Anthony came into it with 3 stars. Hilaria started it with only one lonely star. For each wrong answer, they lost a star. If they hit zero stars, they failed.

Chase ended up losing all his stars first, leaving Hilaria to go head-to-head with Anthony, and Anthony was able to pull out the victory with two stars to spare! So, Anthony finally graduated and got the heck out of there!

Anthony told the private cams, “I had a strong competitive feeling today. I’m happy to be out of here.”
