Dateline NBC September 18 New Episode To Feature A Robbery And Poisoning Scandal In Indiana
According to NBC, they are officially scheduled to air another brand new episode of their hit news/documentary series, “Dateline NBC” tonight, September 18, 2026, and it will feature a look at a scandal that involved a robbery and a plot to poison someone!
According to NBC’s official press release information for this episode, it’s named/titled, “The Man Who Loved Christmas.” The preview info from NBC’s episode description is telling us that the Dateline NBC will take a deep look at a story about a burglary debacle that took place somewhere in Freetown, Indiana.
The investigators who worked this case went on to stumble upon a very scandalous plot that was designed to try and poison an Indiana man. Additionally, we’re being told that a mother and her daughter were at the very center of this entire investigation.
Blayne Alexander handled the reporting duties for this episode and case. It will feature interviews with: District Attorney Lynsey Fleetwood, James and Hannah Allen, Matthew and Samantha Allen, Detective Clint Burchman, Detective J.L. McElfresh and Deputy Aaron Wilkins.
Again, NBC’s press release confirmed that they are officially scheduled to air this brand new episode of Dateline NBC tonight, September 18, 2026 in the 9 pm central standard time slot. It will just be a 1-hour event. So, expect it to wrap up at 10 pm central time.
