Dancing With The Stars September 22 Eliminated Giada De Laurentiis & Alan Bersten (Recap)

Earlier tonight, September 22, 2026, ABC air another new, LIVE performances/results episode for Dancing With The Stars’ current season 35, and another unlucky couple did get eliminated by the time it wrapped up.

All the judges: Carrie Ann Inaba, Derek Hough, and Bruno Tonioli were on hand tonight to give their professional critiques and scores. The theme for tonight’s show was “Viral Hits Night.” So, the couples danced to the most viral songs in internet history.

Jenna Dewan and her pro partner Val Chmerkovskiy kicked off tonight’s LIVE performances with a Jive number to “Animal” by KATSEYE. Afterwards, Carrie Ann gave them a 7 score, Derek a 7, Bruno a 7 for a total of 21 points out of possible 30 points.

Ciara Miller and her pro partner Brandon Armstrong danced a tango number to “No Broke Boys” by Disco Lines and Tinashe. Afterwards, Carrie Ann gave them a 6 score, Derek a 6, Bruno 6 for a total of 18 points.

Tyler Cameron and Sharna Burgess served up a Salsa routine to “Girls” by The Kid LAROI. Afterwards, Carrie Ann gave them a 6 score, Derek a 5, Bruno a 5 for a total of 16 points.

Julia Stiles and Ezra Sosa danced a tango number to “The Door” by Teddy Swims. Afterwards, Carrie Ann gave them a 5 score, Derek a 6, Bruno a 5 for a total of 16 points.

Jackson Olson and his pro partner Emma Slater delivered up a foxtrot routine to “That’s So True” by Gracie Abrams. Afterwards, Carrie Ann them a 6 score, Derek a 6, Bruno a 6 for a total of 18 points.

Giada De Laurentiis and her pro partner Alan Bersten served up a Salsa dance to the song “Bella Ciao” by Becky G. Afterwards, Carrie Ann gave them a 4 score, Derek a 4, Bruno a 4 for a total of 12 points.

Connor Wood and his pro partner Rylee Arnold delivered a tango dance to the song, “12 to 12” by sombr. Afterwards, Carrie Ann gave them a 5, Derek a 5, Bruno a 5 for a total of 15 points.

Ezra Frech and his pro partner Daniella Karagach performed a cha cha dance to the song, “Low” by rapper Flo Rida. Afterwards, Carrie Ann gave them a 7 score, Derek a 7, Bruno a 7 for a total of 21 points.

Tatyana Ali and her pro partner Jan Ravnik danced a foxtrot number to the song, “What Was I Made For?” by Billie Eilish. Afterwards, Carrie Ann gave them a 6 score, Derek a 6, Bruno a 6 for a total of 18 points.

Amber Glenn and her pro partner Pasha Pashkov performed a tango number to the song, “All the Things She Said” by Harrison. Afterwards, Carrie Ann gave them a 7 score, Derek a 7, Bruno a 7 for a total of 21 points.

Guillermo Rodriguez and his pro partner Witney Carson delivered a paso doble routine to the song, “Where Have You Been” by singer Rihanna. Afterwards, Carrie Ann gave them a 4 score, Derek a 4, Bruno a 4 for a total of 12 points.

Taylor Hanson and his pro partner Britt Stewart delivered a Cha Cha performance to the song, “Cake By the Ocean” by DNCE. Afterwards, Carrie Ann gave them a 5 score, Derek a 5, Bruno a 5 for a total of 15 points.

Harry Shum Jr. and his pro partner Jenna Johnson served up a Viennese waltz number to the song, “Iris” by the Goo Goo Dolls. Afterwards, Carrie Ann gave them a 6 score, Derek a 6, Bruno a 6 for a total of 18 points.

To wrap up tonight’s LIVE performances, Maura Higgins and Mark Ballas danced a cha cha routine to the song, “September” by Earth, Wind & Fire. Afterwards, Carrie Ann gave them a 6 score, Derek a 6, Bruno a 7 for a total of 19 points.

Next, the co-hosts Alfonso Ribeiro and Julianne Hough let all the couples know they were safe tonight except for poor Giada De Laurentiis and Alan Bersten. So, they were sadly eliminated tonight. The judges did say she was a little shaky in her routine, and it did show.
