Survivor October 7 Voted Off Patt Cannaday In A Heavy Blinside (Recap)

Earlier tonight, October 7, 2026, CBS aired another new episode for Survivor’s current season 51, and another unlucky contestant definitely got a blindside shaft at the end of it.

Tonight’s new episode kicked off with talk about the last tribal council meeting that sent Ana packing. Eric told the private cams, “The last tribal council couldn’t have gone any better for me.” Carter told the private cams, “I was completely convinced that the vote was going on Eric. So, I’m at the bottom. I think I’ll be going next if I don’t do something.”

Ori told the private cams, “I knew Anna was going, but I voted for Eric anyways.” Rob told the private cams, “I feel like Eric should stay in this game. I put my own name down at the last tribal council, but I didn’t know I couldn’t do that.” So, that explains why there were no votes on Rob at the last tribal council. Rob went on to say that his foot was in really bad shape.

Rob told the group that he thinks he might have gotten an infection in his foot. So, the medic came out to look at it. The medic told him that he couldn’t see anything serious, but there is always a risk of infection with a cut like that. However, Rob said he still wanted to leave because he thinks something is really wrong with his foot. So, he told the others he’s leaving and left. .

Carter told the private cams, “Rob gave me his immunity idol before he left. So, I see some sunny days ahead for me.” Devin told the private cams, “Jenna’s still my number one target.”

Kilby told Patt that he doesn’t like playing with Brady, and she went back and told Brady what Kilby said. So, that formed some bad energy towards Kilby from Brady.

Carter’s name was drawn to go on a trip to go talk with the Toka tribe. Devin’s name was drawn to go talk with the Savu tribe. Carter and Devin were both given a clue to help them find an advantage at the separate camps. They were also given the option to permanently switch tribes

At Savu, Devin told Sharonda about the hidden advantage, and they found it together. It was a secret extra vote. At Toka, Carter left the note in his bag that contained the clue for the advantage just laying in plain sight for everyone to look inside and read it.

They did read it and went searching for the advantage. Brady found it. It was another secret extra vote. He told Maggie about it and left it with her. So, Maggie now has the advantage that they secretly stole from Carter.

Devin told Savu that Kilby is a liar for future reference. Devin told Ori about the advantage he found. Ori told the private cams, “Devin built even more trust with me by telling me about his advantage.” Devin decided to go back to the Toka tribe instead of staying at Savu. So, he took the boat ride back.

Meanwhile, Brady told Carter he wants him to stay at Toka. Carter told the private cams that he needs to think about it because he doesn’t really know if he can trust what Brady says. However, in Carter’s ill-fated search to try and find his advantage that was stolen earlier, he missed the boat to take him back to Savu. So, he was forced to have to stay at Toka at that point.

Next, host Jeff Probst showed up with the new immunity challenge. During it, they had to scramble to find keys. Use the keys to open a box and get a ladder out. Retrieve some bags. Make it up a ramp, and complete a puzzle for the win. The Savu tribe won it to claim immunity. So, Toka had to figure out who to vote out at the next tribal council meeting. The immunity challenge also doubled as a reward challenge. The prize was four hens.

Devin told the private cams that he’s targeting Kilby. Devin and Kilby had a confrontation over the tensions they are having. Devin didn’t buy Kilby’s pitch to make amends. So, Devin, Jelly, Brady, Mike and more made plans to vote off Kilby.

Kilby told the private cams, “Mike has got to go.” Brady pretended to strategize with Kilby on the vote, but he told the private cams that he’s looking to get Kilby out.

Thien An told the private cams that she wanted to target Patt. So, she campaigned with Kilby, Lewis, Carter and more to get the vote flipped to Patt. Thien An told Brady that she thinks the vote is going to Patt. Brady told the private cams, “It’s going to Kilby. I have way more pull than Thien An in this game.”

At the Toka tribal council meeting, they just did some general game talk before casting their votes. Then, Jeff revealed that Kilby got 5 votes, and Patt received 6 votes. So, with the 6 votes, Patt was voted off. She said, “Bye, guys” on the way out.

Patt told the private cams,”This really sucks. It was definitely a blindside. What hurts the most is leaving early. I don’t even want a cheeseburger. I just want revenge.”
