Best Medicine October 20 New Episode 5 Spoilers Reveal A Sad Magician Duo Member Death & More
According to FOX, they are officially scheduled to air another new episode of their hit comedy/drama series, ” Best Medicine” tonight, October 20, 2026, and it will feature a wife of a magician duo, turning up dead and more. This episode is the 5th one for this current season 2.
According to FOX’s official episode 5 press release information, the writers decided to name/title this episode, “Hare Today, Gone Tomorrow.” This episode will feature new scenes from Martin, Eden, a male medical monitor, Louisa and more.
The spoiler intel that we were able to acquire from FOX’s episode description is telling us that the wife of a traveling magician will turn up dead over at the Salty Breeze, and the husband will have a really hard time accepting that his wife is truly dead. So, Martin will have to step up to the plate and somehow get the husband to accept the truth.
As for Eden, she will end up finding a letter that Martin wrote for Louisa and actually think it’s for her instead. A final spoiler scoop for this new episode 5 is letting us know that at some point, a new male medical monitor played by guest star Jack Cutmore-Scott is going to show up on the scene and develop a very quick connection with Louisa.
The series regular stars who will be featured in episode 5 are: Josh Charles as character Dr. Martin Best, Abigail Spencer as Louisa Gavin, Cree as Elaine Denton, Josh Segarra as Sheriff Mark Mylow, Annie Potts as Aunt Sarah, Stephen Spinella as Greg Garrison, Jason Veasey as George Brady, Didi Conn as Geneva Larson, Eliza Coupe as Dr. Eden Montgomery, Carter Shimp as Al Large, and Alison Cimmet as Irma Appleby.
Again, FOX’s press release confirmed that they are officially scheduled to air this brand new installment of Best Medicine’s current season 2 tonight, October 20, 2026 in the 7 pm central standard time slot.
