After the teams successfully completed the grape juice Road Block challenge, they had to drive to an institute to get their next clue. When they got it, they got hit with another Road Block challenge that required them to make a couple of popular breakfast pastries to get their next clue.
Once again, Matt & Michelle got there first and received another “Driver’s Seat” opportunity, allowing them to choose how many pastries each team had to make.

When they got it, they had to find a room with a race flag out of a 100 different rooms. Then, listen to a recorded message for certain words to crack a code for their next clue. The code was, “Downtown One.”
After the teams successfully cracked the code, they were told to drive to Downtown One to get their next clue. When they got it, they were told to go to the Skanderbeg Square, which was the pit stop for this leg of the race.
Michelle & Matthew arrived to the pit stop in first place and won a trip for two from Expedia. Daisha & Dalton took 2nd place. Conner & Garrett took 3rd. Ann Marie & Riley came in 4th. Ali & Danna took 5th. Doug & Dylan claimed the 6th spot.
Anuag & Andrea came in 7th, Erin & Javi took the very important 8th place to just narrowly avoid elimination. That means Dafina & Saran finished last, and host Phil Kheogan did tell them they were eliminated for it. .
They told the private cams, “We got eliminated a lot earlier than anticipated, but we’re going to look at the positives. That’s what we do.”
