The Drop A Snowfall Saga New Season 2 Still In Question. FX Hasn’t Renewed It Yet
Tonight, October 27, 2026, FX is going to air the next, new episode 8 of The Drop: A Snowfall Saga’s current, premiere season 1, and it is the season finale episode. So, we did set out to find out if FX ordered up a new season 2 of the show yet.
According to a recent report from the folks over at TV Insider and their sources, FX has not yet ordered a new season 2 renewal. That doesn’t mean that they won’t. It just means that they haven’t at the time of this writing.
TV Insider did go on to say that this show was not tagged by FX as a limited series. So, that is a positive because when shows are tagged as limited series, that means there’s usually no renewals for them.
Some more positive news that they revealed about the show is that it hit number 1 on Disney Plus’ U.S. TV chart, and it held that spot for seven consecutive days. There are also reports out there, saying that the show delivered up one of the strongest debut stretches for an FX series on Disney Plus’ U.S. top 10 chart.
So, we’ll see if all that positive intel is good enough to prompt the folks over at FX to purchase a new second season at some point in the future.
Again, as of right now, we’re being told that FX is at the very least playing the patience game by not jumping on the ball and ordering a new season 2 yet. We’ll see if they do at some point in the near future.
That is all we’ve got for this latest, “The Drop: A Snowfall Saga” TV show report, but definitely stay tuned for more.
