The Voice November 2 First 12 Of Top 13 Contestants Revealed (Recap)
Earlier tonight, NBC aired another new episode for The Voice’s current season 30, and a lot of unlucky contestants met their demise in this one as it featured the dreaded “Cut Week” round. We also found out who the top 12 of the top 13 contestants are.
All the coaches/judges: Adam Levine, Kelly Clarkson, Queen Latifah and Riley Green were on hand to do their very tough job of cutting a lot of contestants to finally get things down to the top 12.
In this Cut Week round, the coaches right off the bat chose two contestants from their teams to automatically go straight through to the top 13 just based on all their past performances.
After that, all the remaining contestants on each team had to do another performance for their coach. Then, they got to send just one more contestant through to the top 13 after that. Meanwhile, America got to vote to send one of the contestants through to the top 13. After that, whichever contestants were left, sadly got eliminated.
With all that said, here is how everything played out. Coach Queen Latifa chose to send Mia Knight and BigCountry to the top 13 straight off the bat based on their past performances.
That left Bryan Jaymes to perform “Use Me.” Destinee Monroe to perform “Space Oddity.” Alt Bloom to perform “For the First Time.” Lillie Kolich to perform “Friday I’m in Love.” Chari to perform “Killing Me Softly” For Queen Latifah’s final vote, and she chose to send Lillie Kolich to the top 13.
Coach Adam Levine chose to automatically send Lexi Stephens and Connor Closs to the top 13 based on their past performances. That left Evan James to perform “Midnight Train to Georgia.” Dakota Cohen to perform “Hemorrhage (In My Hands).” Owen Uffens to perform “Electric Feel.” Amanda Mikkel to perform “A Thousand Miles.” Brandon Diaz to perform “Dare You to Move” for Adam’s final vote, and he chose to send Dakota Cohen to the top 13.
Coach Riley Green chose to automatically send Cade Mower and Ferryn & Brinkley to the top 13. That left Allie Rae to perform “4x4xU.” Everett Bounds to perform “Killin’ Time.” Keiyana Osmond to perform “Will You Love Me Tomorrow.” Kayleigh Mathews to perform “Walking After Midnight.” Joe Henley to perform “Don’t Close Your Eyes” for Riley’s final vote, and Riley chose to send Joe Henley to the top 13.
Coach Kelly Clarkson chose to automatically send Koumba Diallo and Anna McElroy to the top 13 based on their past performances. That left Marcus Ladden Jr. to perform “You’ll Never Find Another Love Like Mine.” Brooklyn Marie to perform “Goodbye Yellow Brick Road.” Brianna Cameron to perform “Inseparable.” Nina Howland to perform “In the Kitchen.” Kyle Davis to perform “Can’t Find My Way Home” for Kelly’s final vote, and she chose to send Brianna Cameron to the top 13.
To recap: Anna McElroy, Brianna Cameron, Koumba Diallo, Cade Mower, Ferryn & Brinkley, Joe Henley, BigCountry, Lillie Kolich, Mia Knight, Connor Closs, Dakota Cohen and Lexi Stephens made it through to the top 13.
