New Step Up 3D movie delivered lots of hot dances and ok storyline. Touchstone Pictures released their new dance flick “Step Up 3D” movie into theaters this weekend, and it was pretty fun to watch. It delivered very cool dance moves, along with an adorable duet with Alyson Stoner and Adam Sevani’s characters. The movie stars: Adam Sevani, Alyson Stoner, Rick Malambri, Sharni Vinson, Keith “Remedy” Stallworth, Kendra Andrews, Stephen “tWitch” Boss, and Joe Slaughter.

“Step Up 3D” revolved around character Luke (Rick Malambri) and his mission to make a bunch of dancer’s dreams come true by winning a huge dance championship. However, he’s in a bit of a bind as he’s late on the payments for the warehouse that they use to practice in. The only way to get the money is to win the world dance championships where the grand prize is $100,000.

Luke recruits Moose (Adam Sevani) to join his Pirates dance team. Unfortunately, Luke’s main rival plants his sister Natalie (Sharni Vinson) to join the Pirates and sabotage things. However, Natalie eventually grows close with Luke, and regrets the whole thing. Meanwhile, Moose has trouble because he keeps disappointing his best friend Camille (Alyson Stoner) by being to busy with the whole dancing thing.

Eventually, a wrench gets thrown into the Pirates plan to win the competition and save the warehouse, but Moose rises to the occasion and helps Luke reunite the team, and brings in his old high school crew to help out. It ends with a huge, very entertaining dance-off finale that involved lots of flashing lights and innovative dance moves.

I thought the movie was very entertaining throughout. It had some pretty good drama and an ok storyline. It wasn’t the most original storyline, but it sufficed. I really liked the musical dance number Alyson Stoner and Adam Sevani did. It was very adorable, and I’m not usually an adorable things type of person, but it was pretty cool.
