New ‘Hanna’ Movie Delivered Intense Fight Scenes,Drama & More

New ‘Hanna’ movie delivered intense fight scenes, drama & more. Focus Features released their new action/drama flick “Hanna” into theaters this weekend. I just checked it out,and thought it was quite good. However, it did have it’s slow moments, but when the action picked up, I was really into it. The movie stars: Saoirse Ronan, Cate Blanchett, Eric Bana, Jason Flemyng, Tom Hollander, and Olivia Williams.

The flick revolved around a young teenage girl named Hanna (Saoirse Ronan) who was literally born to be a perfect human assassin. The movie picks up with her being raised by her supposed ex-CIA father Erik (Eric Bana) in the forests of Finland.

This was the only life she ever knew. He taught her how to fight, speak a plethora of different languages, the whole nine yards in preparation for what appeared to be a mission to take out a ruthless, murdering, intelligence operative named Marissa (Cate Blanchett).

One day, Hanna and Erik purposely tip off their location to Marissa and her organization,so Hanna can get taken in. Once Hanna is on the inside, she kills up a whole bunch of people, and the chase begins for both her and her supposed father.

Hanna escapes out into the desert, and eventually makes friends with an odd girl who liked to talk a lot,and her family. She travels with them, but is always being followed by men Marissa has hired. It all eventually comes to head, and Hanna goes on the run again as she tries to meet her father in Berlin.

From this point, the action picks up again, and doesn’t stop. The movie featured lots of cool action scenes with little Hanna taking out multiple men with her fighting skills, shooting up a whole bunch of people, and a big final showdown with Marissa herself. Towards the end, a huge twist was also dropped on Hanna, which changed her mission, and what she thought about herself.

I thought the movie was very good, especially when the action picked up. I wasn’t really fond of the middle,slow-moving scenes because I just really liked seeing Hanna kick but. However, it might be different for others. I gave the movie a solid B grade. Follow us on Facebook for more movie news, and more by Clicking Here. Follow us on Twitter by Clicking Here.
