The Road New Season 2 Still In Question. CBS Hasn’t Renewed It Yet

According to a couple of our sources, CBS has not yet made an official announcement for renewing their new singing competition show, “The Road.” So, tonight’s finale episode 10 may very well have been its last forever. We’ll have to wait and see.

While we wait and see, we can take a look at how The Road performed for CBS in the LIVE ratings and viewership numbers.

According to the LIVE Nielsen ratings, The Road’s very first season 1 managed to average 3.025 million LIVE viewers per episode along with a 0.20 ratings score for the 18-45 year old demographics. The most recent episode with any data, which was episode 6 drew in 2.779 million LIVE viewers and a 0.14 ratings score.

The most-viewed episode was episode 3 with 3.434 million LIVE viewers. The least-viewed episode was episode 4 with 2.644 million LIVE viewers.

The highest-rated episode was episode 3 with a 0.26 ratings score. The lowest-rated episode was episode 4 with a 0.13 ratings score. Those numbers don’t seem terrible for what it is, but they also don’t seem spectacular either. It’s kind of just mid I would say.

However, given that it’s a reality show and not a more expensive scripted show, I wouldn’t be surprised if CBS gave this a season 2 renewal. Again, we’ll have to wait and see for now.
